I was sadly disappointed with my order. I had been looking forward to trying this place for a while. I have eaten at Rude "burger" quit a few times and really like it. I placed a pickup order online for myself and treated my coworkers. I requested a pu time for an hour later. The French fries were terrible. Overcooked, limp and greasy. I did not care for the baked beans. I just didn't like the taste or the texture. The pulled pork sandwich was very dry with very little smoke flavor. I didn't even find the smoked ketchup to be smokey. The onion rings were good. Maybe I messed up by ordering ahead and they may have prepared the order and it sat. I don't know if I will try them again. $70.00 for 3 people's lunch and not very good. No. I don't think so.Vegetarian options: Onion rings

It was okay....would I come back?? Possibly. I got the sampler with beans with meat and mac n chz with a corn bread muffin and a "fresh baked cookie". The sweet bbq sauce was delightful. The 2 ribs were okay tender but dry (I asked for wet)...the thigh was good...the sliced brisket (50/50) was also good...the mac n chz left much to be desired... no seasoning...a little on the dry side even though it was cheesy if that makes sense...and the beans were just okay. Overall a 3/5 for me.

Visiting my daughter, came up from the south, consider myself a bbq aficionado, the food here is a legit as bbq comes. Many times bbq hides itself behind the sauce, not so here, ribs spoke for themselves without any added. Mac and Cheese as good as I have eaten, manager that was working 4/6/24 am (name escapes me) was as hospitable as could be, not always the case in the food service industry these days. Wish I had a Rude BBQ in my hometown.

I was in Easton for a medical appointment and asked for recommendations for lunch. I was given Rude Burgers and Rude BBQ. I prefer BBQ so I went there. I ordered take out for me and my adult son as I had to drive back to Chesapeake City. My son ordered the Maryland Pit Sandwich and I ordered the chopped brisket. I asked about soft drinks as the place seems to push beer and liquor. The choice was bottled drinks that I had never heard of. I just wanted a darn coke. Oh well. I got sweet potato fries with my order and ate them in the car on the way to WaWa for a foundation coke. The taste was ok but they were quite limp and wet with oil. They were hard to eat as they fell apart when you picked them up and were greasy. I has asked for sweet BBQ sauce for my brisket and I ordered cole slaw. When I got home, my son used the very tiny plastic container of sweet sauce on his sandwich. I couldn't believe that they gave me only enough sauce to maybe cover 1/2 ounce of my brisket and nothing for my son's sandwich. So, I was out of sauce. The brisket was fine but I had to put some bottled sauce on it which didn't make me happy. My son said his sandwich was just "OK". So, I spent a small fortune for food that was just "ok". Couldn't get a drink there, the cole slaw was just ok, I've had much better. And the cost was very high. Sorry guys, but I won't be back and I won't recommend you either. The staff wasn't busy at all because I was the only customer in the place at that time. No one went out of their way to help me or explain the menu or anything. When I first walked in a young man did try to seat me but when I said I was ordering take out, he went away.

If you like greasy, overpriced burgers then this place is for you. Fries are single fried so they are flimsy.

Excellent service and amazing food and drinks. That are other BBQ spots out there that depend on sauces or sides to make up for a lack of quality smoked meat. Rude BBQ has 5-star smoked meat without the need to compensate. Did the somehow manage to still take this place to a next level BBQ establishment? Absolutely. The adult drinks are borderline heaven and additional selection of quality sides and sandwiches are basically unheard of at the majority of BBQ establishments.I can’t recommend Rude enough!
