This has become our go-to spot for live crabs and seafood on the way back from the beaches on this part of the western shore. Mostly heavy, tasty mediums were all the blue crabs that were left at 5 PM on a Saturday, but it was a summer miracle to find any at all. We’ve enjoyed their fresh fish and shellfish too, over the years, served by friendly, knowledge staff, along with frozen seafood to stow away for later. A true regional treasure, especially after the untimely demise of Annapolis Seafood.

Salads especially seaweed could be improved. Size & flavor of 🦀 🔥 they do have a tendency to disconnect the phone on holidays early and sometimes people aren’t even inquiring about 🦀 which is why I’m just becoming a customer lol I use to call on holidays wondering why the ring tone wasn’t present believing all my locals just make this market up since Annapolis seafood disappeared and nah they just have interesting habits.

I highly recommend this business. Their customer service is outstanding. and the quality of the 2 dozens of large male crabs was consistent in size, and it exceeded my expectations. I was really impressed with the professionalism and outstanding customer service, which means the most to me. The melted butter is the best ever! Chesapeake Seafood is the BEST KEPT SECRET! Many thanks to the entire STAFF for making my visit the best, and I will be returning soon!

Absolute worst crabcake sandwich I've ever had. It was $40 for a burger and crabcake sandwich. Lesson learned. No spice whatsoever. Just boiled lump meat and plain breading. There was no flavor. Huge disappointment and waste of money. So bummed. I'm sure the fresh seafood you can order in bulk and take home is good but I wouldn't ever go back to get anything made there. I feel scammed. When given the food we weren't told it was missing the remoulade sauce we ordered with it. When went back in the lady said they didn't have any but I could buy a bottle. So annoyed. We could have eaten at a nice restaurant for the price we paid. My daughters burger was a frozen patty that was soggy and tasted so weird. Ahh it was so bad. I regret going there

Never been there before, saw the sign for Crabs. Called and ordered half bushel . If I can get back out there, I’ll do it again today. Absolutely delicious. The bushel was jammed with crabs. Great job see you again this afternoon:)

I ordered whole salmon from Chesapeake. They were professional and timely. The fish was packed in bags of ice, in a box, and ready to travel. The salmon was just shy of 11 pounds. I did the seasoning and the cooking. It was delightful. As everyone was so impressed with the outcome, I'm certain I'll be fixing this again. Thank you, Chesapeake.

I recently ordered crabs from Chesapeake Crabhouse and they were terrible. They were extremely light, block spots on most of the crabs and not seasoned well. Very disappointed.
