Over the past year, we have come here a few times, and the pull-up windows are always closed. We are always told to go through the drive-through instead. We aren't given a reason why, either. What's the point of being called a "Drive-In" if you can only use the drive through. The moment we see the drive-in is closed, we leave. We have even gotten there, been told it's drive through only, then see some people getting serviced at the drive in. Find a different location because this one just doesn't want the customers, apparently.

Food great! Service Great! State of property? Terrible. Trashy. Order windows are filthy, removed sticker residue. Windows of front kitchen dirty. Faded external banners. Parking lot has not been cleaned in ages. Lines need to be painted. Removal of trash can at rear exit irritating.

I had gotten the 3 piece tender dinner box with a sprite and honey mustard. I received the items but my sprite was basically carbonated water. And my chicken was cold wasn't even done. I didn't even get my honey mustard what type of kids are a working here!

Great customer service! I wasn't the biggest fan of the burger. It definitely needed some more umph to it like seasoning. Onion rings were good! Chili tots were decent, too. The corn dog and regular hot dog were middle of the line. Wish they would come out with a sugar-free drink or find a way to make their slushy mix without sugar because they do have sugar-free syrup flavors. It was busy, and we did get our food fast! I love Sonic's milkshakes. They are so thick and tasty. I wish they would bring back the Classic Yellow Cake Batter. It was the best milkshake ever. But in its absence, I love anything banana flavored. I love that their food is made to order, so it is hot and fresh. They bring your food out to your car or to your table if you are sitting at the tables/picnic tables. Plus I love when they have their "Happy Hour", half off your favorite drinks. You gotta love that! Lol!

I've been to this locations a few times over the past month. I'm amazed that people actually go there to get some of the worst fast food I've ever had. What am I missing? My hamburger bun was dry and tough. They same was true for the chicken sandwich. On top of that, the chicken sandwich was TINY! It was 1/3 the size of a normal sandwich. Honestly, the entire thing would fit in the palm of my hand. The only thing I liked was the milkshake. Lesson learned.

We drive 30 minutes to get to a Sonic. This last visit to the one in Edgewater will be the last. Worst drive through experience ever. They are out of several items and the employee was rude about it, as if we should know they were out of onion rings. When we got to the window the order was amazingly incorrect. My husband asked the employee to fix it, he threw our money back at my husband, called him an f-ing a****** and told us to leave. I know that there is a staffing shortage, but shame on Sonic for hiring such a rude young employee to be the face of their organization.

It was a beautiful, sunny day, and I was running errands with the sunroof open. I was in the mood for "a little something" and I remembered that Sonic was nearby. Brilliant! Ordering was easy and a very nice, young attendant brought my food out very quickly. The chocolate shake was the bomb. Crispy chicken sandwich was good too. There were plenty if spaces open and no standing in line. I'll have to get there more often.

At $15 hr to flip burgers you'd think that after 3 times they'd get the order right. Absolutely ridiculous. Also they don't speak English. For crying out loud. Went inside to get my refund. The place is absolutely filthy. Will not patron this or any Sonic again.

Today, after several recent visits to the Edgewater, Maryland franchise, I decided that I need to submit my recent disappointment in service, product, and personnel. For years, I have enjoyed the Sonic product. The Edgewater, Maryland franchise is located in an easily-accessible location; the service, historically, fast; the product, well-prepared and packaged. Until about six (6) months ago. Today, I sat at the Drive Thru microphone for up to five (5) minutes. When I drove to the window, nobody recognized I was there for several minutes. I knocked on the very blurred window. Then, was met by [what my receipt documents] Carhop: Pat with a nervous "The next time, just wait. We will get to you. We have a line." Then, when I ask how they knew I was at the microphone box, "Pat" advised me that am audible and visible signal. Then, added that they were training a new Drive Thru employee. I would have been more sympathetic, except, my recent visits at the franchise Drive Thru so similar, but different. Please, do not let this franchise fold under bad service and/or product. Word travels fast.
