We have celebrated numerous milestones at Old Stein Inn from my dad's 80th to most recently my daughter's college graduation and more. We LOVE the authentic German cuisine and the Americanized twists too. The service is always warm and accommodating. We came in for dinner and it was great! The food was all excellent and the drink options (beer and cider) were lovely. Very friendly, if a little too speedy, service.
I took my mother their on Sunday for mother's Day the food was really good but the service was terrible the sever had a attitude after we just ordered water during our meal we were not asked how the meal was but everyone else he was waiting on he asked he only asked after we were done, during the time our empty plates were picked up i said thank you only to be ignored im not sure why we were treated this way the restaurant is 40 minutes out of our way it's not like i don't tip good i guess he got mad that we didn't order drinks which would have made his tip more i tip on service not how much the bill is or tax

Definite Oktoberfest vibes if you sit in the large bar area. Beers are always flowing here, including German style beers you won't find elsewhere. Schnitzel was huge and cooked perfectly. I picked German potato salad and spatzle as my sides, which did not disappoint. A 1 liter beer in a huge mug was 2 hand worthy, so I would not spill a drop.

Found this gem on a day out with my pups. They have a lovely dog friendly patio with a charming ambience. The dark beer sampler was good but not too heavy. The food options were so exciting! I tried the WILD WURST KASEFONDUE and it was spectacular. Can’t wait to come back and try more.
Joe our server was awesome. The food appears to be authentic german cuisine. The beer selection was amazing as was the wine. We had a large party for a birthday and everyone had a great time and the server was so attentive and wonderful.

30Mar.2024My first time here and our waitress was great. Kelsey makes you want to come back and enjoy the delicious German food.The IPA’s and wines we had were delicious. The Apfestrudel(how it is on the menu)was piping hot, delicious, and the side of ice cream blended so well. It is a healthy portion.Bavarian bratwurst on a salted pretzel bun and sauerkraut was so good. I didn’t even need to add mustard. The fried crab balls were hot out of the fryer and the mustard remoulade was good. The dill pickles were crispy in every bit.Great lunch and experience. We sat out in the Biergarten. The atmosphere was superb.
