Really cute place with reasonable selection of coffees drinks and pastries. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The cappuccino was very good and nicely made. The reason for the 4 star rating is two things: 1) it is really echo-y inside so much so that it was hard to hear anything being said, and 2) parking is a huge problem. It would be great if there was more clarity about spaces available and possibly some signage.
As for the echo....not an expert but there needs to be something to absorb some of the racket. In this visit, two families with small children were visiting and enjoying themselves, but it was deafening inside.
The back garden is cute but could use some TLC.

Terrible experience. I waited over 30 minutes for my coffee, and the baristas never even made it. When I asked about it, they were rude and didn’t offer to fix the mistake—just gave me a refund with attitude. This isn’t the first time they’ve messed up my order either. Meanwhile, the staff stood around drinking coffee behind the counter, talking, while a line was going out the door. Completely unprofessional. I won’t be back. There are way better local spots in Annapolis that actually value their customer to support.

Pretty nice shop. Didn't have time to stay and enjoy the atmosphere but I enjoyed my Matcha latte. Thank you for a great drink and sorry for the scuffed parking on my part. Parking lot was a little confusing as a first time visitor.

I stopped by Rise Up Coffee Shop while visiting the area, and I’m so glad I did! The coffee was great, but the best part was the service—Alayna was the absolute sweetest. She made me feel so welcome, took the time to chat, and even gave me a great drink recommendation. If I lived here, this would definitely be my go-to spot!

Wow! Best lattes ever! Hot cinnamon toast, crunch with coconut milk, and hot Irish cream with almond milk! I wish we lived closer! Come! You won't regret it!

Ordered 2 drinks and 2 breakfast food items. Didn't get my second drink only until about 25 minutes after when i went to the cashier and asked when i could get the second drink. Asked how much longer for the food as i would see other customers get their orders before me when they would order after me and all i got for an answer was “i don’t know” . Took my drinks and left with no food. Im really patient but if all you have to say is “i dont know” after Ive been waiting over 25 minutes seeing others order after me and get their stuff before me its not a good look. ☹️

The food and coffee is really good. The service is terrible and they will guaranteed mess your order up every other visit. They are ran by a bunch of clueless teens that care very little for their job. As long as you have patience to walk these kids through doing their job and you know to expect incompetence when you go then you won’t be disappointed.

Fail today Rise Up team. My wife went in to get me my favorite bacon egg and cheese sandwich. One of the best in the area. The cashier forced her to take one of the premade ones as “they were just put in the case and they are the same”. Nope. Rubber fried egg. Not scrambled. Rubber cheese. Not melted cheese. Soggy rubber bacon. Not fresh crispy bacon. Muffin that was not toasted. Big fail. Threw it away. I get it. You have these for convenience. But when your customer is willing to wait and pay the extra money. Listen to the customer. Honestly this makes the McDonald’s version look gourmet. Off to find my new favorite bacon egg and cheese sandwich.

Rise up is my absolute favorite coffee. I typically go to Annapolis or Arnold locations. This was absolutely horrible. I order a breakfast bowl with eggs over easy. It came out as a breakfast burrito. I sent it back and they basically scrapped out the filling and topped it with a big portion of cold shredded cheese. No easy eggs. The egg nog latte was gross. I went back up to get another drink. I then received a "token" to be used for one free drink on my next visit as an apology. $26 spent and I only fully consumed the 2nd beverage. Thankfully, the token can be used at any locations. Definitely won't be back.
