Nothing says Summer like a Rita's Gelato - frozen custard layered with tropical fruit Icee & more custard on top - yummy!
When Rita’s, Edgewater Maryland found out it was my birthday, they gave me my mango gelati for free. Even offered me rainbow sprinkles but I passed on that. Total happiness!!
Just out for tips they shove the jar in middle of the window so you can't get your order without reaching around it
service is just ok

Me and my boyfriend always go to this location. It’s never been a problem to get two different flavors of ice in one cup; I used to work at a Rita’s, so I’m very aware how it works. Today I went to get Swedish fish and Mango half-and-half and was denied that, told they don’t do that, and given some attitude by the female employee.
Always great for a quick stop for ice cream. The lines can sometimes be a little long though.

Literally slammed and closed the window with a smile on their face in front of a whole line of customers laughing.
Didn't have the chocolate for a chocolate milkshake, but have you tried the strawberry milkshake maybe my new favorite.Service was excellent and apologized for not having chocolate milkshake.

ITS A GOOD PLACE?
My grandsons love the custard and ices here.
Waited in line over 10 minutes only to be told the store was closed and we were not served. We were in line well before closing time but the girls couldn’t be bothered. Very disappointed.
Was in line from 855 pm and staff waited till 905 pm to tell the customers waiting that they were not going to serve them. Felt bad for the father and daughter in front off me who had waited for 15 minutes. Sad ?
