Sonic Drive-In

This Sonic is always a hit or miss. The morning and afternoon shifts seems to have better service than the evening, but there’s been a handful of times I’ve come to the restaurant and they’re open but “closed” because systems are down. I know they can’t control system outages but they don’t provide any ETA of when things will be back online and I know sometimes customers travel from out of town to visit Sonic. The Sonic in Waldorf is far but a much better and consistent experience with fresh, hot food.

I've come here multiple times for breakfast and lunch. One time, they were out of eggs, which was inconvenient. This isn't my favorite fast food place, but it's nice to have something different every once in a while. The staff is super friendly in my experiences.

Such a great experience!! The person at the drive thru was so polite and patient. Perfect example of good worker and I will gladly come back again to eat there!!

Reminds you of home. Great place to get a quick bite, reasonable prices n little or no wait time. Love their app. Can get half price drinks anytime through app ordering, beats trying to make limited window of happy hour.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had a fast food place. The ordering process went fine with the guy on the intercom but it all went down hill after that. Had a lot of trouble getting it to work to pay, Food and drink was terrible, didn’t get our full order and had to wait a long time both to get it and fix it. We came here last year when passing through to go to a farm and had a completely different experience. Shame it seems to have changed.

So many terminals to order are broken the one left the screen was black so we couldn't see the order the person taking the order wasn't hearing things correctly we kept repeating the order then we couldn't pay until he came out he showed the receipt and we told him it was wrong and he was frustrated said it's already on the receipt then forgot some items came back and said we had to give the food we didn't want back the manager comes out and we tell her the order it got so frustrating that she said just take the food and go ...there should absolutely be no reason that there are only two people working with that many customers in the drive thru and parked it took over 30 minutes to order and get food sonic you need to do better your employees looked defeated and over worked

The Sonic in Edgewater, Maryland, on Solomon's Island Road used to be a nice little spot to get memorable and tasty drinks and food. However, something catastrophic has occurred in the past 6 weeks, from late August, 2024 to the beginning of October, 2024. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and make it my routine to go out of my way to visit this Sonic when in Annapolis to shop or for appointments, which I do on a regular basis. Recently, I may order 4 or 5 drinks and they are now all missing one or more ingredients. A vanilla Coke will have no vanilla or a hamburger will have no lettuce and onions, even though it was in the online order. In addition, when pulling into Stall 12 to get my order, the app will say that Stall 12 does not exist (?) or the app will not connect at all. Then, when I go through the drive-through to pick up my order, it takes 48 (!!!!) minutes to get my order, which, of course, includes incredibly cold french fries which are promptly thrown away. It is a shame. I love Sonic at other locations around the country, but this location is a complete disappointment.

Sucks. I came back from a business trip. Picked my car but BMW pulled in at about 14 minutes until they quit serving as advertised on the website. That's old I couldn't get any food but a beverage so a guy bring it out to me after another 10 or 12 minutes. I went to hand in my money and tell him to give me a $1.50 back he keeps $2 he took the whole thing and just turned the walked away. At that point I gave up the place just sucks.

I've always enjoyed the hotdogs but I got the onion rings and they tasted like tunnel cake. Everything else the dogs and tator tots were find . I even had the queso but the onion rings were so sweet and funnel cake flavor for the batter

While the burger my daughter ordered was originally prepared, they quickly corrected it and brought it to her, the fries were too greasy and I couldn't finish them after eating about 3 and stopped giving them to my furbaby after about 3 or 4 fries for fear the grease may upset his stomach, which it did not thank goodness. My grandson enjoyed his hotdogs, my daughter enjoyed her burger and I enjoyed the mozzarella sticks. The pretzel was a bit greasy as well, but I squeezed it with a napkin to get out as much as I could.
I will not be visiting this restaurant chain again, but it may work for others.
The service was good, atmosphere great.

Pretty decent for fast-food, but unbelievably slow. It took them over 15 mins for a single meal. Not worth the wait.

It's Sonic - solid 4 star fast food. Been here a few times and the quality has been consistent and the service speedy. Area is clean and I have had no complaints!

Check your order when you're there. The food is normal fast food fare, service is usually decent, food accuracy is an issue. Order ahead in the app, when it works.
