Food is incredible good. I've been looking for a soulfood place since I've moved to edgewood. The seafood mac and cheese next level the curry chicken i had with the oxtail 😋 think I'll take a nap when I'm done. If you love soulfood made with love check this place out.

Best soul food I’ve had in Maryland BY FAR. It’s in contention for best soul food I’ve ever had and I lived in SC for years. Staff is just as good as the food. Some of these reviews complain about pricing but you get what you pay for, and some. Definitely coming back for more oxtail, collards, and Mac. Lots of stuff you can try as well. Absolutely worth the trip.

I didn't like the food at this place at all. The lady at the counter was nice but messed up my order. The seafood mac n cheese just had 3 shrimp and a few pieces of crab meat. Oxtails were not tender enough. Half n half tasted like mildew. Don't waste your time or gas going there. Nothing I bought tasted good to me. Plus the corn bread was burnt. I will never go back.

Oh my heavens. Finally had a chance to try the food here. The food is fabulous but so are the people. They were so kind and friendly with n my first visit and even gave me some warm cornbread while I waited for my order of wings and Mac n cheese. All of it was so delicious but that cornbread was like heaven in my mouth. Would recommend 💯 and can’t wait to go again!

I’ve been here a couple times and just doordashed this place. Best food I’ve ever had. Every time I’ve come here, the people were very nice and restaurant was clean and surprisingly fast! I recommend this place to all my friends too and none of them have ever been disappointed. Price seems high but I promise it’s sooo worth it!
This place has the ABSOLUTE BEST food.The cornbread is soft and moist,everything is home made.Could eat here everyday!!! And the personalities top it off.

The food is excellent!! It is piping hot, flavorful, and looks fresh. The owners are so hospitable. They gave me a sample of their hot cornbread, and oh my..so delicious! I ordered curry chicken, and it was so tender, and it was a heavy hand that made my plate. I have no complaints!
