Flying Point Restaurant Reviews
Oof. The disappointment was real with this one. Drinks were pretty bad. The adult strawberry lemonade was said to taste like watered down lemon juice with fake strawberry flavor. The pineapple marg apparently tasted like nothing but old pineapple juice and the salt rim that was requested, I was told was a mixture of sugar and table salt.
The old bay fries. They were honestly the best part. Minus the 20 minutes it took just to get ketchup, they were crispy and tasted good....read full review
I frequented this marina a couple times for food and with a friend. The last time was pretty bad the cream of crab was cold & watery and lack seasoning. The manager stated it was because of the crab meat. Wow!!!! The bartender gave my friend attitude after the hostess said that she could sit at the bar self served. My friend just left and it was disappointing. My friend doesn’t like confrontation so I let it go for that time only. The kitchen seems to struggle with quality food...read full review
If you want to eat a meal do NOT go to The Island at Flying Point Marina.

Flying Point Restaurant is a great spot for a meal, offering enjoyable food and excellent staff. It is beautifully located right on the water and features an outdoor dining area that provides a clean and pleasant environment. The view of the marina adds to the relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to enjoy live local music outside. The menu includes tasty options such as trash can wings, brisket sandwich, cream of crab, buffalo chicken wrap, shrimp tacos, and appetizers like fried oysters and chicken tenders. While the nacho appetizer was reported as just OK, other dishes received positive remarks. Although it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, it is a recommended hidden gem for lunch or a summer evening. Flying Point is dog friendly and even has a dog menu, making it a great choice for pet owners. Visitors are encouraged to come by boat and check in with the hostess upon arrival. On a good weather day, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view, but it's wise to bring a jacket as it can get cool by the water.
