Hotpot Jamaican Takeout

Been going here for a while every now and again. I only like their oxtails, but this last round the gravy had a thick chalky consistency as if there was some cornstarch that wasn’t well blended and some of the navy beans had a burnt flavor as if they were scorched (stuck to the pot) during cooking which would make send as the oxtails weren’t as tender proving they were cooked too fast 😫

Omg. Please don't even waste your money. I'm not sure why this place has 4.3 ratings but the food was horrible. Rice tasted like it was on the edge of spoiling, my boyfriend spit the plantain out. Oxtail was not appetizing. Not because you're from the Caribbean means you can cook and it doesn't mean you should cook or sell it to anyone. They said Jamacian food is the best, I won't even rate this a 1/10

The brown stew chicken was horrible and cold and $2 more than advertised online the beef patties are 50-cent more than advertised online and the Cabbage was $2 more than advertised on mine nothing was hot

Food was good the owner was not friendly just looked at me never said can I help you or thanks after I got my food

The gentleman who is always there during morning/noon time, is very nice. His Brown stew beef and oxtails are so delicious... the man can cook y'all.!
I definitely recommend Hotpot.!

Ive been here twice now. The first time, I got the brown stew chicken and it did not disappoint at all. This time, I got the jerk chicken, and it slapped harder than my mama. This is the flavor I think of when I think about jerk. If you haven't been to Hot Pot, make sure you take time to go sometime soon. This man DON'T miss!!

Yesterday my husband bought oxtail and your chicken. It was pretty OK. I decided to go buy the chicken again today. Very disappointed no flavor at all. Just a lot of pepper . I’m not complaining about the pepper at alll , but I had to add some seasoning tasted like if it was water down, you guys need to do a little bit more better than this thank you
