Never thought I'd say it, but this was my first bad experience at a Waffle House. We were the only customers in the place yet my wife's sandwich order was wrong, the waffles took the longest to get, and the grits were so full of hard lumps they seemed like reheated leftovers......and I had to ask two different people for butter. Our waitress said she was brewing us a fresh pot of coffee, but she spent more time playing on her phone to pour any before we were nearly done with our meal. Should I mention the ants on the window sill and our table?
We still live Waffle House, but I will go out of my way to avoid that specific one.
I LOVE WAFFLE HOUSE! No matter where I go, the country ham, grits, scrambled eggs with cheese and hash browns are ON POINT! The coffee is so amazing that I order it online for my house. The staff was courteous and efficient!
Driving through Maryland every few months, I make sure to stop here for breakfast at least once on those trips. The food is consistently solid, the coffee good, the bathrooms meh. I’ve only been here during weekday mornings, but it’s usually the same. I’ve tried others along the route but I like this one best. The guy who is the cook, at least for the past few months, does great waffles!
Talk about bad attitude from some of the staff its like they whant the place to close down. Server Ya-Haaa had attitude from the start litteraly cleared the table before we finished our food in an half empty place . Don't waste your time and money, save tips for more worthy service and staff.
TERRIBLE!!! Nasty, smirky workers who laugh around in a crowd and have ZERO manners. They should all be fired. Left after we ordered because that’s how terrible the experience was.
Good was good, but service lacking. Server not paying attention to orders, not making sure food was brought out. Servers were chatting a lot and distracted.
The dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. The waitress was very young and trying her best, but the amount of time it took to get food and the slowness of the staff cleaning tables was ridiculous. Our table had a view behind the counter and it’s hard to believe it could pass a dept of health inspection.
This was going to be my first time trying Waffle house, but staff looked in disarray and one server for the whole place. It did not help other patrons were a little impatient. Once dine in was a fail, I tried a to go method, but again (one server). Today was not a good day for trying a hyped restaurant.
visited here at two AM on the way home from a concert- we had two hours of driving ahead of us, but we saw this shining yellow beacon on the horizon. after a coke and a patty melt, the trip home felt a lot less daunting.
Too expensive

Terrible experience food was disgusting. Workers are not all in to work. Order was wrong, food was not fully recived and was over charged as well.
Workers also need to stop taking about eachother business that customers don’t wanna hear.
May 13, 2025 went in around 2am for breakfast to go and I will say I waited awhile but I saw how busy they were and how unprepared the general manager left the restaurant. The guys handled it great. I was ok with waiting because the food is sooooooo good great job guys. You were awesome.
We ate at Waffle House this morning. My boyfriend ordered the $7.95 2 egg meal, and pointed at it on the menu to the waitress. She asked which breakfast meat he wanted, and he said the sausage. When we got our bill, he told her his breakfast was $7.95, and she had written $13.00 in error, which was a totally different menu item (there's another 2-egg menu item that includes breakfast meat, but that's not the one he ordered). She told him because he had sausage, it bumped him to the more expensive menu option. We wonder how many people she has scammed with that one! Granted, he didn't catch the fact that she asked him about the meat, but she should have known what he ordered (and she did see where he had pointed on the menu) didn't come with sausage, bacon or ham. Very shady. Just be careful when you place your order there that they don't con you.
With that aside, the food was decent and the male staff member who greeted us and rung us out was very nice.
That was the first time I had ever been to a Waffle House, and it's a shame the waitress did that to us. We did NOT want to spend nearly $30.00 for breakfast. We purposely chose menu items under $10.00 a piece. Nobody likes to feel like they were cheated, and I have the feeling she's gotten away with it before. Just be cautious if you go there.
I'm not very familiar with this place.
Friendly staff, clean restaurant, good Waffle House breakfast! Would stop by here again.
