My husband told me to choose my favorite restaurant for my birthday… and Winter’s Run was my choice! They have the best food and service! The crabs are great. They have the biggest, crispiest wings, and delicious French fries and gravy. I love going to a place where they know your name and the food and service are perfection. The absolute best!!!

Everything was good, except I think our waitress got double tipped on 8/23/25 by accident by Anne, & It was a group of ten people at 2:30pm & maybe your place owes her $130.-back on her credit card. Please don't tell her I posted this at all.

Took my parents and kid here to enjoy the Maryland crabs on our way home back to Virginia. We loved this place! The crabs were incredible and very reasonably priced. The corns are a plus! Our waitress was the best—she gave us a great tutorial on what not to eat of a crab. My little one had a great time banging the crab claws using the wood hammer. Wish this restaurant were closer to our home.

It’s been years since we last visited Winters Run so when my wife suggested steamed crabs last weekend Winters Run was our first choice. We pre-ordered a dozen large and they were outstanding. Be sure to have a cup of the Maryland crab soup and don’t forget the corn on the cob. Delicious! Our server was exceptional.

Second time here, first time was great second time was good too. But the crabs were spoiled. Service atmosphere and steamed shrimp was great. But the crabs had an ammonia smell and the inside mustard was blue, not yellow like it should be. It has an ammonia smell and I believe they were rancid. Waitress was great and service was good though.
