Picked up a 6-pack of your German-style Pilsner at local liquor store. I was reluctant to buy at first because it is sold in cans and I prefer long neck bottles. But glad I did. It is hands down the best Pilsner I have ever had. Full bodied, great flavor. Pour into a glass and enjoy. It's my go to beer now!

My first visit to 1623 Brewing Co. on an early, warm Saturday afternoon. There is ample parking and the inside is much larger than I expected- there is a large round bar, a cozy lounge area w/fireplace and numerous tables ( both regular & bar height)- could easily accommodate large functions. Additionally, there is a seltzer bar area and an outdoor biergarten area. The customer service was good and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They offer more than a dozen beers as well as hard seltzers, and being my first visit I selected a "flight" of four beers for $10- good quality, tasty beer. One of the best locations in Eldersburg/Sykesville area. I will definitely be back with family & friends

We had my husband’s 30th birthday party at 1623 a few weeks ago and I was blown away by the space they provided to us for the event and the level of service. 1623 was very prompt and informative in responding to all my questions, and when I arrived on the day of the party I was pleasantly surprised by how many tables/couches/space in general they had allocated for our group! We had a dedicated server included with the very reasonable party fee and she was fantastic. Highly recommend 1623 for your events and their beers/seltzers are delicious!

We hosted our wedding rehearsal at 1623 Brewing. It was great! We had plenty of space sectioned off to celebrate and enjoy our catered meal from Lib's Catering. The staff was very friendly and attentive, always checking in on us to make sure we weren't thirsty! We would definitely recommend hosting an event here. But would also recommend visiting whenever you have the chance because we love it there! We also love that it is a dog friendly brewery.

The beer itself is ok. Just be aware that if you go in the evening on a Sunday they may or may not actually be open(?) Their posted close time on Sundays is 8:00 PM. We walked in at 6:20, intending to hang out till close and have a beer or two, but the server told us they were doing last call because they “weren’t busy enough.” He told us “Sundays have been weird lately.” I mean, ok, but if that’s the case maybe just change your hours so people don’t make the trip there thinking you’re open? Honestly kind of off-putting.

Really nice atmosphere! I had a couple different IPAs and my wife had a couple flavored seltzers. Everything was great. The inside is HUGE and it also has a nice outdoor area.

We love this local brewery. They have a great rotation of beer, and the seltzer bar is amazing! But I hate the food trucks. I wish they would bring back their old food menu. It was so much better! Still 5 stars for service, ambiance, price, and quality of beer!
