This is the go-to place for me and my friends. We always make a lot of noise and stay late.... The wait staff is always very kind to us. The food is somewhat inconsistent, but the naan bread is always delicious.

Excellent!! My husband loves Indian food and we don't have many options in Carroll County, so we were excited to try Kinara for an early birthday dinner. We went early to hit their happy hour, where we got drinks and snacks--chicken seekh kabab and vegetable pakora--which were great, and ended up ordering the rest of our meal to-go to enjoy at home. We got butter chicken (hot), lamb vindaloo (hot), garlic naan, and another order of the veg pakora because they were so yummy. OMG!! everything we got was incredible! I'm already excited for the leftovers and can't wait to come back soon!

Delightful restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and delicious food..Biriyani is so good!

Visiting stores from fredrick to baltimore, everything was bad. But this had to have been the best tasting food ever. You could taste the effort in it. The place was gorgeous and the staff was amazing

We love Indian food. We usually travel to Baltimore County but last week didn't want to make the drive so we tried Kinara. All 4 of us really enjoyed the food. We'll be back.

Father’s Day Dinner – A Disappointing Experience

We chose this restaurant to celebrate Father’s Day with family, hoping for a memorable meal, but unfortunately, it missed the mark on several fronts.

Food Quality
The lamb chops curry, priced at a premium, felt like an afterthought. Rather than being cooked in the sauce, the lamb chops appeared to be pre-cooked and merely dipped into a basic tikka curry. The result lacked depth and cohesion. The salmon tikka, too, was overcooked and dry—disappointing for a dish that should highlight freshness and flavor.

Service & Amenities
Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, service was inattentive. At one point, I had to retrieve a spoon from another table myself. The absence of child-friendly essentials—such as cups for kids and baby-changing stations in the restroom—suggests a lack of consideration for families, which is surprising and inconvenient on a family-oriented day.

Verdict
At this price point, one expects quality, attentiveness, and hospitality. Unfortunately, the experience lacked all three. The restaurant has potential, but it needs to reevaluate its standards in both food preparation and customer care—especially if it hopes to welcome families on special occasions.

We came for the buffet and was not disappointed. Amazing selections! Great prices! I was honestly shocked it wasn't more busy than it was. It's like a hidden gem.
