What I've been noticing about this restaurant I'd that the chairs are disappearing. Our group often has 8 attending and we used to be able to sit at the big table together. Now there's often only 5 chairs. If we take others away from other tables, they're left with no chairs. It seems weird not to replace chairs if they break. Or fix them if the come loose. I'd this store failing ? They don't have money to keep it up? That's what it looks like to me
Mac and cheese. Nuff said.
Employees are fantastic — ALWAYS!
I can't remember all the staff members' names, but I was truly impressed by their service.
Month ago, I saw one particularly picky customer repeatedly make requests, but the staff in the kitchen kept smiling and worked hard to meet every need.
And I had trouble using an e-gift card, the cashier was incredibly patient and helpful.
Today, When I asked if I could exchange my gift card, the cashier knew it probably wasn’t possible, but still offered to try and help me. He could’ve thought it was a silly question, but instead, he took me seriously and genuinely tried to help — all while never losing his smile.
The Eldersburg staff are unbelievably kind and professional.
Next time, I’ll make sure to remember all their names!
Panera Eldersburg location should be proud — this location has an amazing team!

Pretty good food and easy to order. It's a bit expensive for what it is. Most of the dining room tables needed cleaned. No clue if that is a one off or how it always is. Asking for a tip when the restaurant is trashed and dirty is laughable.

Panera Bread has a variety of healthy meal choices. Their portions are a good size and their food is delicious.
My experience would probably had been better if they separated my order in two separate bags, one lobster Mac and cheese which was hot, duh, but was set on top of a lobster roll which spoiled from the heat of said Mac and cheese, at least the Mac and cheese was ok

I placed an order online for my colleagues at work. One sandwich that I tried to change over the phone didn't do it right. They gave me an unlabled small sandwich which is egg and cheese. The sandwich that I wanted to replace it with sausage which they didn't replace it at all as they said that will change without extra charge by manager.

Pros: Good bread, good indoor sitting. The indoor dining area is nice and generally clean however, so it is worth it to go in for a coffee and a snack.
Cons: Service and competence. This Panera is poorly run. The food is alright, although it is a bit expensive for the cheap, buttery quality of fast food. When you order, do not expect to have all your items, whether that be cream cheese for a bagel or basil on your tomato-basil sandwich. I have been disappointed the last two times I went and do not plan to go again soon.
Advice: support another business in the area.

The portions here are smaller than every other location I've been to.

This is a general review for the Panera Bread in Eldersburg, MD. Prices are increasing and portions have become smaller over the last couple of years. Soup and salad bowls are only filled halfway. They eliminated a lot of menu items. And the worst, they discontinued their delicious frozen mocha. Why? Just why? I maybe eat here about only 2-3 times/year now. I don't want to spend $15 on a tiny half a sandwich and half a cup of soup. Not worth it.

I use Panera very often in different cities and states. And I can definitely say that in this location the portions are half as much as in other locations. The portion costs almost $11 I ordered chicken cesar salad and I added an avocado for $3. There was an option to add avocado for $1.5, $3 and $6. I chose the $3 option and they gave me 1/4 of an avocado, this is just a disgrace! A salad that cost $14, which I usually eat and completely full at other locations, I left here hungry! Very small portions, you can buy same size salad at Safeway, Giant, Costco any food market for $4
