The Mac and cheese is really bland. It tastes like Kraft. The baked potato was dry like it had been sitting out since the day before. The ribs were bland as well. Corn bread was pretty good.

Best pit beef around! Huge portions, good prices, and friendly staff. It's 30 mins from my house, but we'll worth it. I have eaten there many of times and have never had a bad experience. Showed up early for a large order, didn't mind waiting but they knocked it out early for me. Great service!

Smokey’s serves pit beef that makes Maryland proud. It’s tender, smoky, and sliced like someone cares. The ocean fries taste like the fries at the boardwalk.

I had high hopes for Smokys, but this was a serious letdown. The pit beef sandwich was a mess—tough, flavorless meat slapped on a soggy bun that was both stale and falling apart before I could even pick it up. It was barely edible. The fries were undercooked, limp, and completely unsalted—tasted like they skipped the fryer halfway through. And don’t even get me started on the mac and cheese… rubbery noodles swimming in some strange, artificial-tasting cheese sauce. Nothing about this meal was worth the price. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good BBQ or pit beef. Stick to Braglio Farms or Chaps!

Love this place it's small and a little run down that's why I gave them a stars for the atmosphere. But, the main thing with this place is how good their pit beef is! Fantastic taste and texture. Also my friend is a teacher and they will give you a discount if you work in the school system!

Came in about an hour b4 closing. I understand trying to clean up early when it's slow, but throwing all the trash cans on their sides and stuffing everything in the can right next to the table the only 2 people in the restaurant are eating at is very rude. It's not like the 2 of us were going to go around and throw trash in 5 cans. Both our Pit Beef sandwiches were ice cold. At least the fries were hot. All the condiments except for packs of ketchup were put away. I had to ask for horseradish, no mayo to mix with it, and no pre made horseradish sauce out. Wife's sandwich was medium and extremely dry. My rare sandwich seemed tough for rare beef. Have to admit the sandwiches were bigger and the place was better when it was The Canopy. I recommend if you go, you go at lunchtime while they are actively cooking, and hopefully, the food will be hot.

Was here with my family of 5. Had been a yr & a half since our last visit! Chicken was very dry, beef sandwich was soupy, fries too done. And most of the dining room tables were fifty. Sticky beyond. With covid so rampant tables should be sprayed with bleach & washing clothes rinced with every table! Yuk! And both bathrooms smelled like raw sewage! We will never return!
