Sushi Q8 Eldersburg

My friends picked this place. Their sushi were really delicious and the servers were very attentive/excellent. Definitely recommend coming during the lunch special and ofc the kasu chicken. Would go again!

Been here a few times. The food was excellent, esp the hibachi and with the sushis they offer! The service was quick & the our server, Vivian, was very welcoming and exceptional! I highly recommended this place!

Sushi Q8 has much better service and food over Sushi Q5 in Westminster. Well worth the longer drive.

I took my mom for dinner to celebrate mother's Day and her birthday. We ordered the Sushi 8 Appetizer, Shrimp Fried Rice, Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi, the Boston Bays Roll, a Shrimp Tempura Roll, and the Angry Lobster and Angry Raven Roll. The food was pretty good and the service was fine. The appetizer was probably the best item we had. It was sweet and loght. Unfortunately the rolls all came out together and it was hard to tell which one was which. When we went there was no one else inside the restaurant and they had about 3 pick up orders.

I ordered a house salad and 2 special rolls. The waitress also brought an appetizer, soup, and slice of cake for me. Everything was delicious. I ordered an extra piece of cake to take home to my husband because it was so good.

We frequently dine at or order carryout from Sushi Q’s Ellicott City or Jessup locations. On this occasion, we were looking for sushi and called Kata Sushi around 8:30 PM. I mentioned I would call back in 45 minutes, and they assured me it was no problem since they close at 10 PM. However, when I called back, I was told the kitchen was closed—without any empathy or prior notice.

I wasn’t aware that there was a Sushi Q in Eldersburg, as we typically order from the Ellicott City location. I’m so glad I came across it—the sushi was incredibly fresh, and the staff was exceptionally accommodating. This experience has definitely made me appreciate Sushi Q even more.

This was my first time at SushiQ8 in Eldersburg and I ordered the Winter Soup and a glass of Rose. I was happy with this spacious and gorgeous restaurant with top notch service. However, the food was lackluster. My soup was luke warm and the shrimp were tough and overcooked. The broth was flavorless. The oodon noodles were yummy. I enjoyed the little freebies they brought out but wish they had something for my friend who has a gluten allergy. My friend noticed what she thought may have been a parasite or worm in her sushi (raw salmon). I won't be here again. There are plenty of better sushi restaurants here like Tony's, J&Y and Haiko.
