Always fresh and great rolls. I usually order ahead and my orders are ready as soon as I show up. Ordered rolls on dozens of occasions. Never had an issue.Parking: Always plenty of parking. Easy to grab and go.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options and the team will modify any roll and make custom rolls for my kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out once you get onto the sidewalk from the street.

I ordered my food online like I always do and wasn’t aware that lunch specials are not valid on the weekend since it says nothing to that effect online. I ordered came in 20 minutes later and they hadn’t even seen my order yet (it was dead in the restaurant) and then said they couldn’t make it because lunch specials aren’t valid on the weekends. I probably order dinner a few times every month and I couldn’t believe the customer service I received, they made no attempt to even try and make it right when there are about 7 other sushi places in the area.

This is a great Japanese restaurant for sushi, sashimi, bento and other items. It has a bit standard Japanese dining decor, and fairly relaxing. Plenty parkings out front since it’s inside the safeway shopping center. We’ve dined here multiple times also ordered catering for parties . And we enjoyed the delicious foods every time.Service has been wonderful, considerate and attentive.Highly recommend by @winedinenvacay

Some background: I loved SushiQ. I've eaten in 3 or 4 of their locations for almost a decade and never got sick. They were always friendly and welcoming. The last time I went their 1 month ago, the waitress was very rude. She seemend quite upset that I pressed the service button for twice at the table.I got the bad feeling I should have left. She seemed very angry that I pushed the button. She finally brought the food out and we ate our mea.Within an hour the other person who went with me complained of severe stomach ache and diarrhea.I was surprised, because at the moment I felt fine and we both had eaten the same thing. The next day, I felt severe stomach aches and bloated. I've rarely been sick of the stomach. The stomach ache progressively got worse for 1 week and the last day of the week, I was about to go to the emergency room, but noticed it was getting better.A month later I'm still having stomach aches and now have appointments for more medical testing.I've NEVER had stomach aches like this my entire life, until I ate there.I dont think it's coincidence that went with me got sick as well, but they seemed to recover quickly, whereas I'm still recovering and still dealing with stomach pain 1 month later.

The sushi is very well crafted, and the service is excellent. Even when extremely busy, the staff does a fantastic job of checking in. I've never had a bad meal here, and will always return for sushi night.

Great food and even better service. The Sushi Q appetizer is a must have. We even received an additional complimentary plate of the appetizer and then a dessert and also a calendar.

I asked my wonderful wife of 22 years where she wanted to go for sushi to celebrate our anniversary and she replied with Sushi Q without hesitation. We have sampled the fare at a plethora of sushi bars in the area and this one is without question the best thus far. I didn't know that she had been there before and was familiar with how good it is. The rolls with salmon were exquisite, the fish practically melting in my mouth, the wasabi suitably powerful, and their sauces quite excellent, too. This is now our "go to" restaurant when we get the yen for sushi.

I'll be honest, this restaurant is deceiving. I've been visiting this shopping center for years and seen the restaurant title above the awning, but never ventured inside. The windows are covered and I just wasn't quite sure what was going on in there. Finally, my dining companion and I decided to give it a try and I don't know why we waited and were reluctant to enter. Sushi Q is a Maryland chain of 8 restaurants. I believe the Elk Ridge location was there first. They offer sushi as the restaurant name implies, but also Japanese Hibachi style cooking. We ordered Miso soup, Spicy Salmon Crunchy Roll, Spicy Tuna Crunchy Roll, and a Japanese Shrimp Fried Rice. The restaurant serves a complimentary fried sushi appetizer with a delicious sauce. The meal was plenty for two people and we struggled to finish the fried rice, which was delicious! The shrimp were grilled and a standout! After the meal they served two complimentary slices of cheesecake with a sponge cake base and just enough cheesecake for a palette cleanser. The meal was less than $33.00. And the reason the exterior windows were covered is because they decorated the interior side with stone tiles and other handsome decor. So I say, give this place a try! Will we return? Yes Yes and yes!!!

Love this place. Brought my teen sons here today for the younger’s birthday. The lunch special is a ton of delicious sushi. I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered the banana tempura dessert. I had a similar dessert on vacation in Costa Rica and we had all agreed it was one of the tastiest desserts we had ever had. I was happy to find out that SushiQ’s version was similar and also incredibly delicious. The service here is also always so gracious and prompt.
