Hard Shell Crabs & Seafood

Terrible!!!!! Do not go here! I have been going been going here for years and ordered a dozen XL crabs yesterday and they barely looked medium. I called and said are you sure these are XL and she said they are XL for us. Really sad this place is was really a gem. $105 down the drain. Those crabs shouldn’t have been more than $50. Won’t ever be going back here.

I was a little hesitant to order here due to the bad reviews recently, but it is much closer to our home than many of the other well reviewed places, so we decided to take a chance and give them a try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a dozen x-large males, and they were definitely the right size if not bigger. We even got a couple of Jumbos in there. The crabs were fresh, meaty, very sweet, and delicious! The seasoning is a bit mild for me, but still very good. They are a bit expensive ($109/doz.), but comparable to other crab places we looked at. We will be returning in the future.

We ordered a dozen large steamed crabs. Two of the crabs were unhealthy and not edible. They steamed our order individually so they must have put visibly unhealthy crabs into our order. I called and was given an unacceptable response from their front clerk.

This has become my weekly go to for the summer!!! The crabs have been a nice size each visit and the wait has not been more than 20 mins. The staff is very friendly and remembers their repeat customers.

I ordered the jumbos. My crabs were hot, fresh, meaty/heavy. They were really good. I'll be going back!

Overall yummy crabs. There were some mushy ones, but for the most part they were good. I would go back.

I come here ALL the time and the crabs are ALWAYS good but today they have us some empty crabs that’s were supposed to be “large” they were literally light as a feather and had no meat when I called to inform them they didn’t even care

I got some steamed shrimp here. It was decent. I do have questions about the prices they are charging because they guy tried to charge me double and when I informed him how much they were supposed to cost he quickly adjusted his tune.

I have bought crabs here three times the crabs have been meaty and well seasoned.
I'm about to order 3 more dozen. The price is better than most places around..my crab guy past away and Hard Shell is now my goto place for crabs.

The crabs were well seasoned and meat was juicy and delicious. My son was just moving from St. Louis Missouri to Aberdeen Maryland. He was thrilled to taste these crabs. We will be back for more. I called the owner to give him positive news about his crabs.

1st time buying crabs from here and they were so good. Not one was bad and that's rare. I got the medium male and they were heavy!

Excellent customer service and crabs were heavy and tasty!! I ordered a half a dozen earlier in the week and a few weren't good. When I order today I informed the owner and he made it right. My new go to spot when needing to satisfy my crab fix

I'm so glad I gave this place a try—it’s closer to home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The food was outstanding in both quality and portion size—definitely top-notch.

What really made my visit special was the person at the front. He was incredibly empathetic and genuine. I was having a rough day, and he noticed. He took a moment to offer kind words and encouragement, which truly meant a lot. He creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Honestly, someone like that is rare—and he absolutely deserves a raise!

Marty and Bryce are the BEST!!! I usually get bushels since I have large events a gatherings throughout the season and have never been disappointed, even in the off season!!! Everyone raves about my crabs!!!! If you want the best Crabs you must go there. I've sent everyone I know to them!!!
