Hard Shell Crabs & Seafood

Fresh Cajun seasoned large Maryland crabs. Got half bushel. The guy was generous. Gave the hammer and butter for free.

Great people and the crabs were steamed perfectly! There isn’t any reason why they shouldn’t be sold out everyday! I’ll be back!

Used to be a regular customer. I live 1/4 mile away but the rude treatment and games they play when simply trying to order live crabs is ridiculous. Going elsewhere!

The original owners sold the place to someone that don't want to continue the services that the store started out with, I will never purchase crabs from here again. The store has the same prices listed fron when it first opened and when you pick up your order it like you better check your order before you pay bc instead of large you'll get med and small and maybe 2-4 large. DON'T GO HERE HE'S A RIPE OFF.

Good prices. However, my crabs were over steamed and many holding too much water. I don’t think they were fresh.

I was so happy when I found this crab place. I love Hard Shell Crabs. Every time I visit MD I make sure to stop by Hard Shell. The Owner is friendly and helpful.

I called to see if they have female crabs, they told me they did and then hung up on me.. called 15 times after and then no one answered the phone. I understand being busy, but they could at least answer and ask me to hold.

This place used to be consistently good, but seems to be headed downhill. I just ordered a dozen large crabs, and it was one of the worst batches of crabs I've ever had from anywhere. Most of them smelled off, some of them were mushy. I only ate 3 or 4 and threw the rest out. I won't be back.

Would of ordered from here but can't get over these recent negative reviews about the crabs and service … will be looking somewhere else

Recently I ordered crabs… they were sold out of most but they still had medium males. I picked up my crabs (I should have looked) but I got home and they were literally barely legal, not all but more than half. I probably got 2 actual medium crabs, some were 4 inches, a few 4.5 and some 5’s, they were also very light and empty. I use to go there a lot actually, not sure what’s occurring but I noticed some bad reviews recently.
