It's a little quirky. It appears that the dining-in side is closed. At the order counter there are tables placed to keep you away from the counter itself, but you can still order food. (There are still lunch specials). The owner said she would bring my order to my car outside, so waiting inside with the air-conditioning was not an option.My order was delivered to my car in 15-20 minutes.
Parking: I was able to park right in front of the door.
Wheelchair accessibility: The door is on the 1st floor and is handicapped accessible but working around the order counter defenses could be tricky.

We’ve been coming here for years, Susan is the best. She really cares about her customers and the food is always great. We’ve actually moved out of state, but we still stop by whenever we’re in the area because this place is just that good!

Have eaten there many times, especially during COVID. But last couple of times she "makes up the prices on the fly." Always more expensive then the posted price, but never the same price twice. My guess... she is simply rounding a tip into the order based on what she thinks the customer will pay. Last time she literally changed the price 3 times when I questioned her... and then the receipt said a 4th price. Groan. I am done for the time being.

Food was good awhile ago. I ordered food for the family and the food tasted terrible. The food was way to salty, the chicken was crunchy, and the broccoli in the food was cold and tasted like it came out the freezer into the platter and the they don’t let anyone in the building so bring cash because apparently the credit card machine is not in your line of vision.

This is my Favorite Chinese food place since I was in my 20's. Hands down. I'm 40 now. I have not had a bad dish here. I tried a few in the area locally and they were ok, but this is my spot. This is my family's spot too I moved to GA and can not find any Chinese close to Hunan Lion. Susan and the staff are amazing. She knows my order when I call. She knows my wife, kids, and family. Every time I come back home to MD, I make an effort to come here. Love Hunan Lion
Hunan Lion has been out go-to Chinese Food place for YEARS. The customer service there is absolutely outstanding. And the food? DELICIOUS! Their Cashew Chicken is my favorite and it's the best I've ever eaten. HIGHLY recommended.

Susan is the absolute best! Friendly and warm, cares about her customers. Love their veggie spring rolls, and extra point for being willing to make a vegan version of chicken dishes for me. Hubby loves their cashew chicken.

Everytime you call them they don’t answer the phone. Website says there open but nobody answers. When you call on another day and actually get to talk to someone they don’t have half of the menu items. THEN on top of that they make excuses for why they weren’t open. Needs to be shut down and put a Panda Express in ?♂️
