My wife and I have ate here several times over the years, always mid week, and the service and food has always been great. Good selection of craft beers, apps, oysters and cocktails, their delicious fish n chips is one large piece of haddock

My trainee and I found it on Google while at the TA in Jessup and took a rideshare service to get some lunch. Homemade as chicken tenders could get. My trainee said that it was the best fish and chips that she had ever had. It was great service and a quirky but cool atmosphere.

The calypso fries were good along with the oysters of the day. Wouldn't waste your money on the watermelon cilantro mojito (no alcohol in it). Interesting twist on French dip (thick roast beef slices) but au jus was flavorful but in a tiny to go cup so impossible to dip into. Ceasar wrap was average. Uninspiring overall for post covid 19 prices.

I had the salmon bites, my daughter had a bag of fries, and my cousin had a crab cake. For dessert, I had the bread pudding. Everything else up that point tasted good, EXCEPT for the bread pudding, and I did finish it begrudgingly because I hate to waste money. The chocolate covering also saved it from being a total failure. While placing my dessert order, I ordered an extra bread pudding for my wife (she loves bread pudding wherever it's offered) and accidentally forgot it on the table when leaving and decided not to go back and get it...

Burgers looked good, family liked. crab fries were nice & crispy & crab dip was really good, but fries needs some seasoning. Gumbo was just so so. Shrimp tacos small and the guac was like wholly guacamole- not fresh.Chocolate lava cake small but pretty good. So food Nothing to brag about, but decor is super cute. It’s in a strip mall so outside tables are cute but in a parking lot. But… this is Maryland. If it wasn’t so pricey I may have appreciated it more, but it’s pricey. As an edit- my gumbo I just finished next day- for my lunch- was amazing- lol- guess those flavors needed overnight to gel. I think that’s hard with some stews & soups- hard to get that awesome next day flavor on day 1!

I stopped by on Sunday for lunch with the kids (2 and 5). We were seated but only given menus for brunch and soccer games. The brunch menu should just be called "breakfast" because it lacks any items from the "lunch" half of brunch. It's literally all breakfast items and very limited. The waitress stated that they only have the brunch menu available and they couldn't even do things from their kids menu. Since there was nothing on the brunch menu that kids will eat and I was not in the mood for breakfast, we walked out. The owner then came rushing outside and told us to come back in and they'll make some chicken tenders and a burger. My 5yo was starving so we took him up on the redemption offer and were given kids & lunch/dinner menus to order from. The food came out quickly and my all-american burger was very juicy and tasty. The kids were happy with the tenders and fries, and we were still able to make it home by naptime.I hope this restaurant can rethink their "brunch-menu only" policy on Sundays. Every other restaurant I've visited in the past that offered brunch also had their regular menu to order from. It's especially needed here due to the absence of any lunch food on the brunch menu. And to not even offer the kids menu at 11:30am on a Sunday is completely ignoring the family demographic. They had some great looking brunch drunk deals if you're into day-drinking, but beware coming here with kids for Sunday lunch unless they start offering the whole menu.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu, but apparently it's not available during brunch on Sundays.

Our waiter was a bit of a scatter brain. Not easy to find when we needed a drink and when we got our checks they were rung up on the wrong cards. We still love the place but would of probably had more drinks if he was available.

The food is good here and when I've been it wasn't crowded. The drinks are also rather good. The layout gives a pirate ship theme with well thought out decor to include the cups.

Almost 2hrs to have 2 entrees. Kept being told “food was in que”…then another 30-45min later a burnt chicken sandwich was delivered and ham sliders that were literally one piece of lunch meat folded over. Only go if you have a lot of time and no food

Oh boy...what shall I say. I started coming here when it was still one location...back over in ole' Pasadena. It was great. In the past 5 years I quit going because it was just meh.....came back today to give it another try.And..........slow service. 1.5 to get some crab dip. Every drink order was like extracting blood. AND totally forgot my girlfriends order...captains. Breakfast. Also bloody Marys could use another umf of vodka...just a splash.Very disappointed Pirate Bar. You used to be great.PS what happened to the Mac and Cheese Cannon Balls.....oh wait....as I was typing this. This finally showed up after sitting here for 1.5 hoursEven if wanted to eat that limp greasy attempt at scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. .......they never brought us silverware.

Had an awful experience here this week. First off - we didn't know Thursday was trivia night and while I'm not holding it against Mutiny in this review, it made for a horrible atmosphere. It was so loud (in the whole place) my party of three couldn't even really hold a conversation. The hostess had "no clue" when it would be ending and didn't even ask if we would want to be seated elsewhere (like outside or on the opposite side of the restaurant). The set was so slow, I had actually forgotten that someone had taken our drink order and asked a random server to help us. He was happy to, until he realized we technically had a server already and kinda chastised us for asking for his help. The two people in my party got the chicken tender basket and shrimp basket. They had "no complaints" about their food. My grilled chicken sandwich, however, was so overcooked and touch that when I bit into it the texture was like jerky and it was so burnt it just tasted bitter. Normally I would absolutely have sent it back but, my level of hunger + how slow the service was = ravenously shredding apart that chicken puck with my k9s and grimacing. The fries were really good and I wish I'd just eaten them while I waited for another sandwich.

I stopped in the other evening for a beer and a sandwich. My beer hit the spot but my shrimp and oyster sandwich was poor. The seafood was fried in old tired and stale grease. The grease overwhelmed the seafood- I couldn't tell whether it was fresh or frozen or had any flavor of its own. I may visit Mutiny again but not for a meal.

Food was very good. Our server was excellent. It took a while to get our food as the kitchen was slow but the restaurant was not very busy, so not sure what the issue was. Our drinks came quickly.

Really loved Mutiny and plan on coming back. Overall the atmosphere was fun and comfortable when first walking in, I loved the theme of pirates.Service 5/5: Our server Kenae had such great energy and was very attentive to us. She made our first experience here very enjoyable!Drinks 5/5: I got the Fancy Rum & Coke and my girlfriend got the Rum Punch. We enjoyed both and it was one of the best rum and cokes I’ve had in a long time! Very smooth.Food 4/5: I got the fish and chips and my girlfriend the nachos. We finished everything, my girlfriend loved the nachos, everything was evenly distributed and filling. I enjoyed the fish and chips although, a bit over cooked, and it came as one big piece instead of the typical multiple pieces of fish, but nevertheless it was still good! The batter was light and fries were crisp although I would have enjoyed more seasoning on the fries, they were still what you’d expect.Overall experience 5/5: I really enjoyed the vibe and taste of everything here. I’d love to see what else the menu has to offer and plan on returning.
