Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Prices are just totally insane now. You are talking over $30 for a family of 4. It will be a once a season visit. Not sure how long these places can stay in business with the prices. It has now become a luxury to go out for ice cream.

There’s this new guy named Tye. He’s so fast he came in and just cleared the whole line up. Plus he is very friendly I’m glad they hired this guy.

A worker by the name of Miranda had such amazing energy and was so kind. Not to mention she made some amazing gelati. This was a few days ago but her and her coworkers were super professional and friendly.

I love Rita's lemon Italian ice ? so much before I stopped by on Sunday evening I took my son and his friend to Cold Stone. It was too hot for ice cream but my Rita's lemon ? Italian ice hit the spot. So refreshing and the staff all girls were delightful ?

Monica was talking to other employees and not paying attention while taking my order. Clearly could not have cared less that I was there with a $15 order for ice. She was too busy chatting to tell me my total.

I had a terrible experience never again will my family come back. The girls working were great! But it was crowded and the older black man that name tag said “Tye” was so disrespectful and called me out of my name multiple times around my kids “because i’m holding up the line” when I just didn’t know what I wanted since there was new flavors. I also let people go ahead of me so I wasn’t. Never have I ever been to a place that allowed this type of disrespect toward customers. Then I asked to speak to the manager and he lied and said he was the manager and rung me up for 3 extra custard instead of the 5 layer Gelati like i asked. Me and my friend and family will never go to the location again and will be posting on face book about this.

I walked in, said a cheerful Hello!! Got literally no response. In fact the young male turned his back to me to converse with his female coworker. I repeated myself but with a bit of question. My husband said he spoke, so I accepted it, and said hello again directly to his face. He spoke. I asked what was good. He offered suggestions, but really seemed disinterested. We decided to order from his coworker. Gelati is good. Then his friend walked in and received an almost giddy welcome!! After we left, they locked the door. See the video.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Rita's was quite disappointing. I arrived right before closing, only to find that the establishment had already put everything up and turned off the machines. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff. When I inquired about being served, the response was far from friendly or apologetic. The girls seemed indifferent and unbothered by the inconvenience caused. It's a shame because I've always enjoyed Rita's, but this experience has left a sour taste. I hope this is just an issue with this location and not a company wide issue. I will not be going to this location again.

We go out of our way to visit this location because they have a great selection of flavors and the staff has been more attentive and energetic than some other locations.
