Silver Diner is always a consistent choice. I pretty much order the scramble or the flat iron steak every time I go. But, I’ve had their plant based options as well. I also always sit at the counter. The only thing about that is you hear all of the drama from the staff about their night out, their ex, other customers… but, that comes with the territory. I wish they would clean the menus better… I hate sticky menus and surfaces. Otherwise, 5 star service.
I liked it here. I can’t even lie. I’m confused though I didn’t see anybody doing a stakeout. The diner presents a classy yet down to earth feel when you enter with a classic clinking of silverware in the slow walking of old people and has a distinct feel. My only complaint was they didn’t take the minute to separate the meat from the eggs scrambled, but the sausage was a ray of sunshine over the glistening plate! Wow. I definitely underestimated this place from the outside but it was really impressive. NOT greasy spoon standards. They have gluten free options, plenty of creative dishes, and so much variety! We got seated immediately and everything was delicious :)
