This is not only a convenient GC to access for those of us who are otr but it also offers a welcome change from plain truck stop choices. The food was hot like it’s supposed to be, and the chafing dishes were full with several options. I spent a weekend here in Elkton, MD and came in for every meal so my review encompasses several meals over a period of days. Staff was always friendly, and when they weren’t serving they were cleaning.

Great and convenient location. Very clean with caring friendly staff . Huge selection of food and everything was fully stocked. Plenty of seating.
Plus, it's right next to a gas station and just off the I95 Elkton exit...how convenient is that!?

Thanks to the staff, this is always a good experience. They are always friendly from the moment you walk through the door. If I’m there first person in for breakfast or it’s absolutely packed, they do an amazing job from the cashier to the servers to the cooks at the counter.

I had subpar food with awesome service.if you like mamas food..then the place is good... I'm not the biggest fan but they had a chocolate checkered pie which was to die for.their carving station is always tasty but my waitress was amazing...not always the case but it sure makes choking dried scrambled eggs down easier with a sweet old lady taking care of you

It simply was NOT good. We've been to plenty of good Goldens, but this one most definitely is NOT it. The food was old, stale, cold or lukewarm. Not much choice, no flavor, and the Brussels sprouts tasted like they've been soaking in turpentine. The meats were dry and over cooked. The shrimp were chewy like over heated. The rolls were stale. Just not good.
