We got to try the Veggie Dumplings at the Delaware Renaissance Faire and loved them so much we knew we had to try more in Elkton. My husband and I got dinner the other night and the food was out of this world good! We got The Chicken Chicharon, Lola Inay's Special Tosilog and the Crispy Tagyang and all of it was fantastic!!! We will be going back for sure!!!
Nice to have a Filipino Restaurant nearby, with a friendly chef recommending their popular dishes. Had a good variety of dishes in their menu. Enjoyed the special twist to Filipino dishes. Ordered crispy tadyang (beef ribs), beef pares, crispy chicharon ( fried chicken skin), halo halo and turon. Delicious!
The restaurant is inside the international market. When you come in go to your left and you will find the Philippine decorations. They have a great selection of food including Silog all day which is one of my favorites! The halo halo (Filipino shave ice) is large enough for two to share. If you have never tried halo halo you need to try it here. For those who don’t know halo halo means mix mix. Pour the cream on top and start mixing! Nice staff/owner as well!
