Waitress Makenzie was great! Food was good. (The crab balls were delicious!) The atmosphere was bright and pleasant. Great place to hang with friends for crabs and beer.

UPDATE!... general manager reached out and genuinely accepted my review and was so dismayed by the experience my friends and I had Saturday evening offering her sincere apologies with welcoming us back and insisting that we speak to her directly upon our next visit to ensure the real Micks dining experience is felt. Outstanding handling of a review! I certainly give 5 stars for this exceptional and genuine response as a diner to her establishment!

LONG POST: 1st time to Micks this past Saturday with a few friends for the AYCE 🦀. We are crab cracking pros who love seafood and get together quite often during the summer weeks for a crab dinner so this seem to be a great option now that our local crabhouse closed for the season. We are used to very lively social fun and happy serving staff where the dining experience is always a good time. We found that this was the complete opposite at Micks. From the hostess counter to the table that vibe was very awkward in that the few staff members (ladies) that we saw working seemed MISERABLE! Nobody spoke said hello no smiles just stressed looking. The server (Alexis) took almost 10mins to get to our table ( dining room was not AT ALL busy) and when she did finally come over she never greeted us introduced herself offered any specials offered any specialty drinks like she wasn't trying to make a sale at ALL. We had to ask and said this was our first time Herr! She never smiled she was very dry and uninterested in her job. Our whole dining time we had to repeatedly ask for the same things over and over again because she would forget and never return with refills or anything that we asked for for that matter. At one point I asked another girl that was tending to the table behind us who was also complaining about the service they were getting ( I think she was a food runner) and asked her for refills on drinks and she just simply said "oh she will get it for you" 😲! I couldn't believe it. I think the most personable staff that evening were the younger guys running food they were very upbeat and pleasant. We enjoyed our crabs and soup but the service was horrible and upon leaving we weren't even asked how everything was or invited back like no promotional verbage was had either to keep customers coming back. I don't think we will be returning, this was a mom's dinner night out and we were so excited for a drinks and crab night but that was cut short cause we wanted to finish our crabs and go somewhere else for a good time with drinks. I don't recommend this place for a good time unless you are a bump on a log just saying.

I popped in this place right before closing time,I sat at the bar so I wouldn't stop their end of day work.The bartender was very attentive to my needs,the food was amazing, everything was great,I apologized for.coming.in late they said no problem.Aa a truck driver when it gets late we struggle to find a food place to eat.Thanks.for the A1 SERVICE.......

Went for the all you can eat crabs and clusters. Got there around 6pm, last seating at 8pm, closing at 9pm. The clusters were hit or miss, some came out nice and others were disgustingly brown, couldn’t even eat em. My advice, get there early so you don’t get the bottom of the pot. Service was great, they kept the clusters coming.

I've been going to Micks for a couple of years now. I love the staff. The food is really. Great place to have a party.
My favorite dish is Chicken Chesapeake. Pretty decent seafood options. Highly recommended.

Parking: Never a problem with parking.

First time. All you can eat crabs. Didn't mind the smalls. Just wish you all put way more seasoning on them. Some were almost bare.
Sweet waitress but seemed to have too many tables. Not blaming her for that. She was very nice and helpful. Nice place I thought. Still enjoyed ourselves :)

Kids have been begging for crab, took them to Micks despite a bad experience from years ago. Parking lot had only a dozen or so cars at 730pm on a Saturday, took that as a good thing that we got in ahead of the rush. Waited patiently at the hostess for five minutes while she filled a to go order. She asked if we were dining in and I nodded, she then turned and spent another 10 minutes taking another to go order before turning to me and saying I have no tables. I pointed out that they had less than half their tables filled and left. At least at Woody's, if you wait you know the tables are full.

The main entrance to this place is just plain SCARY. There is a ramp but the railing is wobbly. The steps are uneven. But the coup de grace is that little half step going in the door.
Food good. Service mediocre except for very young man in shorts.

Crabs are our go-to, other dishes not as interesting and when crowded, preference is given to crab feasters, so wasn't digging dinner at the bar. Bands and performers make it fun.

Update: I've just been informed there's no more live music. One less reason to go.

The manager is very disrespectful, we had to wait for her to get there because she was late and had a bad attitude as soon as my party of 7 walked in.

The food was horrible for $50 I got one cold corn on the cob and 2 crab leg claws, no potatoes bit this was supposed to be a crab leg boil. There was no seasoning on anything. I will definitely not be going back there

Had a great meal- we did the #3 crabs were great , lobster tail & even tho I dont care for sausage in a boil it was awesome. Cara took care of us fabulously! Thanks gang!!!
