Hands down best cheesesteak ever! Fresh shaved ribeye on a sesame sub roll. Tried the 215 and it did not disappoint. Also tried the Nikolai and it was excellent! Zach knows what he’s doing!

Very reminiscent of the Big Elk Liquor store sub (if you’re old enough to remember lol) I was very surprised at how amazing my Italian sub was! Meat in abundance sliced thin, and the bread and greens were amazing! Best sub I’ve had in years!!!! I don’t know why I waited so long to try. 10 stars from me and my husband!! Thank you Sonny!

I kinda blame half of this review on my self, I should have had some more knowledge of what to order when I arrived, instead we went out on a whim to try them today. Last time I rode two hrs and they were closed m. Today they were open, I’ll start with the arrival/greeting! Wasn’t the most welcoming, but we stayed and ordered money, this is why we came right? The price was ok, I paid 25$ for a steak sub and fries no drink. I was expecting the seeded roll I seen on some of the pictures, but nonetheless the roll definitely was one of the best I’ve had on a sub. Although the service started out, condescending it ended on a great note we chatted briefly with the owner outside, and once talking to him I realized I ordered the wrong sub! So with that being said I would give it another try the right way! Good steak grade awesome bun, too much cheese and no sweet peppers even tho I orders them lol. I will edit upon my next visit!

Special Day of many drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. We got a cheesesteak with fried onions. We took it to Elk River Brewing in Elkton, MD. Ethan’s Old Fashions at Elk River Brewing was the highlight of this visit. In the interest of time, I called Sonny’s to place my order. We had a breakdown in communication. I didn’t know I had to ask for a seeded roll. I thought I ordered Cooper Charp cheese. We got a non-seeded roll, and I am pretty sure American cheese (I know Cooper sharp is in the American family of cheese). We didn’t like the roll. The cheese felt runny. Thicker slice of meat. You really had to bite into it. It gave a good meat flavor. Onions added good flavor. Watch the last/end of video. Overnight in the fridge, microwave then air fryer helped this cheesesteak a lot.
