Was here a couple weeks ago, food was cold, ordered several drinks to be told they had a run on drinks due to events in rising sun at Calvert Park. Needless to say I won't be returning.

Came in the n the 29th of June 2025. This is not my first time here. I’ve always had mixed feelings about this place but never poor enough service to justify stating so. I ordered the “drunken piggy” for food. Half the pulled pork was not on the roll, which isn’t really a problem if I had silverware to eat it, but since there was no service that wasn’t an option. Additionally the sandwich came with bacon on it which was inedible by definition. The bacon was still completely white and stringy uncooked fat. Totally raw… there was 1 bar tender serving the entire restaurant of 25-30 people. No waitress, no additional staff to serve. I ended up leaving my food on the bar with a 20 dollar bill and going to the moose lodge next door. Seriously, if you’re in the mood for bar food and drinks skip Valhalla, unless you’re into poor service and inedible food. I only wish I didn’t waste my money there and went to the moose lodge to begin with.

It’s a cool place but they only sell beer from other breweries, nothing made in-house. I was confused as to why it’s called a brewery. If they don’t make their own beer anymore, I wish they would announce it on their website or FB page. Their food was ok, the brisket was delicious but the crab cakes were not good.

We hd the Valhalla burger, scrapple and the beer cheese fries with a flight of beers. Delicious!

Cool little place. Unfortunately due to renovations i didn't get to try the house brews but the selection was nice and the food choice was great. I had a scrapple grilled cheese that was made perfectly.

Thursday's burger nights are great. The food was well prepared and service is consistently on point. I wish they had a good Marzen on draft, that would make it 6 stars!

The first time I went was great. Food, service, drinks, 5 stars. I brought my friend and my kid back a few days later and the experience was much different. First, the bartender asked for a card on file since we were eating outside. Fine. Gave her the card. That was not a requirement the first time and I had eaten outside when i had come previously a few days prior. Instead of keeping the card, she gave it right back. My kid's meal came out way overdone and he didn't even eat it and wound up sharing with my friend and I. When I went to pay I had a gift card but the bartender ran my card already on file before I could even tell her. The other two bar tenders apologized profusely while she stood back. They said they put it back on my card, then ran the giftcard and charged my card AGAIN for the difference. What should have been a $25 bill wound up being close to $90 charged to my card and this really messed up my budget for the upcoming week. I still have yet to see the money back in my account. The bar tender who made the mistake had been micromanaging the other bartender (who had done such a great job the first time I'd been there) instead of focusing on doing her own job. Most people ask how you want to pay before running the card and giving you the bill. I still haven't recieved a refund. I gave a good tip, still because I don't know if they pool tips or what and it wasn't the other two bartenders fault. I don't know if I'll be back.

Shame. Last few times were good. This time ordered boneless wings. Flags raised when my order came out in 3 minutes. Wings were cool in the middle. Have a feeling they just microwaved them. After I took my dishes to the bar (as no one followed up with us) employee sitting at bar on phone, asked how was everything . I let him know wings were cold. He stated oh, sorry about that. Then went back to his phone. It's sad, this is exactly how businesses fail and start to lose reputation. Poor customer service.

This is a good place to stop to have a brew. I enjoyed 2 of their IPAs. They make a good beer.
I also had their fries which I was excited for but they were a bit of a disappointment. Idk what they put on them ( sugar? ) but they didn't taste right .
All in all though it's a great facility and the staff is friendly. Yeah, I'd say go check it out.
