Being a owner of three restaurants in the area . We decided to give this establishment a second try. Needless to say we were truly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and service. Chips and salsa was requested three times only to be told they had ran out and were being made.In the meantime other tables were receiving nacho orders. When the chips came out they were not just made as we were told. When are orders came out they did not come with everything as listed in the menu. We had to repeatedly ask for silverware after the food had already been served. The drinks were watered down and sweet. Even the long island was extremely sweet and made incorrectly. Both servers female and male with a dagger tattoo had poor demeanor and sarcastic remarks. We will not be returning and or recommending this establishment.

Overall - if you don't make it in house then don't serve it. Stopped by for what was a highly anticipated dinner. For folks looking a for a traditional Mexican menu will quickly find that Villa Corona is unique in that they have a strong focus towards Seafood. We had First let down for us was an inexcusable and overly obvious use of a bar mix for Margaritas. Similarly the guacamole was food-service grade. For me any restaurant choosing to not make these two items in-house from scratch is simply not caring about the full dining experience. That said the rest of the dining experience was a bit better being offered a ceviche along with chips and salsa was a very pleasant surprise. The Camerones de Puebla was prepared very nicely. Good atmosphere and a pleasant place to eat.

The truth is, it's a terrible place, I was waiting a long time for my food, the service was terrible, they brought me the wrong food, very cold and very bad service, the truth is I don't recommend it at all, the waitresses were the worst, you've never been to such a bad place.

I was so excited to try a new place I will never go back Service was awful Took forever to get drinks and over an hour for our food there was only one other table in the place Food was wrong and didn’t come out how we ordered it We ordered nachos No cheese and looked nothing like the picture on the menu and was missing ingredients Ordered 3 enchiladas, 2 steak one cheese It was wrong Came out with chicken When we told the waiter all he said was steak and walked away Nothing was done to make it right Never got soda that I ordered Awful service The manager came to the table and when we told her food was wrong all she did was try and explain why it came out that way Again, didn’t do anything to make it right or seem to care food was wrong Not very good customer service I spent over $130 to come home hungry

Terrible service from the kitchen, I ordered a fried mojarra and even though it took almost an hour to come out, it was completely frozen, I returned it and it took them another while to tell me that they would not take my order, terrible service and food
Went for lunch on a Sunday, which was our second visit. Only a few tables, so not busy at all. Food was quite good--I had the camarones a la diabla (even though the shells are still on so you have to work at it), one had the bacon-wrapped shrimp, and my wife went with the chicken quesadilla. Service was quite poor--took over 90 minutes total time for our party of 5. Had no creamer for coffee that friend that was with us ordered, in addition to it taking a long time to arrive. Not sure coffee was even brewed, so may have been instant or Keurig, but how can you offer coffee without any creamer?! Waiter never returned to check on things. My take is that their understanding of English did not seem to be very good, which likely led to a lot of the issues. We did determine that we will not return in the future.

Have a problem with the togo order 1st time order 3 meals they didn't give me any side disher or tortillas to spend almost $90 dollars not good service at all, Try to get this fix never got an answer back, second time just happened today, I order again because my husband is watching a soccer game and I got the molcajete carne asada and shrimp. Food was dry and the sides for the meals were very small portions, seriously their food is expensive to not serve the sides well, dry food, will not be back again at this place even If I have to travel longer distance to another restaurant but not coming back to villa corona again

The food was great. We had a party of 20 with a reservation, it's not a big place. But they told us they could sit us. They then proceeded to refuse to split our check before dropping it on the table at the end of dinner. Yes we asked multiple times when we arrived if it was okay that we needed to split the check. Beyond that though, the DJ was playing an excellent mix, at a psyops level of volume the entire meal. I left with a migraine, still hungry since we waited over an hour and half to get the first plates, almost 3 before the final person got their food.Suffice it to say, the food was amazing and I'm sure the people are great. This was definitely not their night.
