~We arrived at 4:40 PM on a Sunday and the restaurant had approximately 8 other guests already seated & dining.
The hostess had a stone face and the personality of a Rattlesnake.
The New England clam chowder was like drinking salt water even though I salt đ§
The Tuscan chicken with creamed spinach again was inedible related to the salt content in the spinach.
It also took 90 minutes to get our dinner.
I ordered Nachos Grande and they were Nachos GROSSLY!
The cheese seemed like it was melted and put into a squeeze bottle and dumped on the nachos., what little bit of ground burger there was on it was like chewing on pop rocks or bacon bits and just were disgusting.
This was a great waste of money that couldâve been given to someone in need.
We could have eliminated elevated blood pressure, from basically eating Salt licks that you put into your horses stalls!
Will not be returning ever again. The hostess did nothing but shrugged her shoulders when we verbalized how our dining was.
Also donât use the ladies room when youâre there, there were more flies in the bathroom then there is in the barn!

I really wanted to like this place. We stopped here after going to Christiana. My grandmother got the soup of the day chicken noodle soup, it had no noodles and was so salty. It seemed like they took a leftover vegetable soup and added in dry chicken.
The crab bisque was gross. Came out cold, I had to ask her to heat it up. It was thick and flavorless, no crab meat in it. For $6 it wouldâve been a steal if it was good. Tasted like they squeezed it out of a bag
I got the fish and chips because I saw them on the website, they looked delicious and hand battered. What I was served was comical. Definitely frozen fish sticks, no flavor at all. Very different from the menu photo.
A waste of $45, wouldâve gotten better food at McDonaldâs. Reminded me of a sad diner.

You have to try there SEAFOOD BUFFET> Its out of this world GOOD!!! The Buffet is one the first wednesday of every mouth.

Wesleys might be a little old school but it has the best seafood buffett and meals. we have been going to Wesleys with family children now grandchildren for 30-40 some years. i am sure we will have the great grandchildren with us too. They are the best!!!!!!!! We went for New Years Eve Buffett this year 2022 and it was great.

My wife and I have been frequent customers of Wesleyâs for many years. We Have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the tavern and all the waitstaff. Recently ( yesterday) we enjoyed a wonderful thanksgiving dinner there and thatâs where the 5 stars come in. The food was deletions and a wonderful variety to choose from. Our family enjoyed it and our only regret is that there was no room for the homemade pumpkin pie for desert. Thank you Jeff and all your family members and staff that made this thanksgiving enjoyable and relaxing.
