I ordered a quesadilla, it took 25 minutes and it was dry and cold.

The potato skins were soggy and discusting. 9 dollars for a piece of cake for dessert is ridiculous it wasn't even a big piece.

We went for lunch. No complaints. Everyone was happy with their meal. Service was good even though the place was packed.

Great food/ service and music! Only bad thing was the ladies bathroom in the back where the music was is awful. Only one stall, dirty and the toliet sits extremely low to the ground.

We’re new to the area and Wesley’s has quickly became our go to spot. Very welcoming and has great bar food. However I’m mainly writing this review because the bartender Sarah is possibly one of the best workers I’ve ever seen. With a packed bar almost everytime we’re here she kills it and is on the spot every time. She even remembered our drink and food order after just the 2nd visit. She is truly a rockstar and deserves a medal for holding this place down 👏👏

My family and I wanted to try somewhere local for dinner tonight and we decided on Wesley’s based off the proximity of our home and that the menu selection looked good. The hostess sat us and we picked our apps and entree selections. We put our menus down, in a pile - a sure indicator that we were ready to order and then we waited, and waited, and waited for whoever our waitress was supposed to be to take our drink order. We waited over 15 minutes and not one person even acknowledged us. What was really unacceptable was after waiting fifteen minutes another table was sat, had their drink order taken and another waitress dropped the drinks off to them. Still not even a “hello” or “I’ll be with you in a minute”. A glance our way or any acknowledgement. After 20 minutes we got up and left. Passing the hostess area the hostess that seated us and another young girl were huddled talking. I will never step foot in this place again. Unacceptable - there were less than 8 tables seated and I can see why this restaurant was empty at 5pm on a Saturday.
Went on Saturday 11/15/25 to see a band. The place was packed. Service was slow but, with the size of the crowd I could live with that. I ordered a prime rib rare. What I got was the most overcooked and tough piece of beef I’ve ever seen. The au jus could not reconstitute this dried out mess. Since the service was so slow and we went to see the band that could not be heard from the dining room I didn’t bother to send it back. The fact that they would send this out of the kitchen is outrageous. I wish I would have taken a picture because it tasted as bad as it looked. On the plus side the servers who were actually hostesses pressed into service were friendly and did a good job. Drinks were good and the band was great. I would never eat there again though.

First time here, but certainly won’t be the last. The beer was cold, the food was amazing, but what really stuck out was the service. Best we’ve ever had. I wish I remembered her name. Middle aged lady, black hair, no-nonsense type attitude. Fantastic all around.

~We arrived at 4:40 PM on a Sunday and the restaurant had approximately 8 other guests already seated & dining. The hostess had a stone face and the personality of a Rattlesnake. The New England clam chowder was like drinking salt water even though I salt 🧂 The Tuscan chicken with creamed spinach again was inedible related to the salt content in the spinach. It also took 90 minutes to get our dinner. I ordered Nachos Grande and they were Nachos GROSSLY! The cheese seemed like it was melted and put into a squeeze bottle and dumped on the nachos., what little bit of ground burger there was on it was like chewing on pop rocks or bacon bits and just were disgusting. This was a great waste of money that could’ve been given to someone in need. We could have eliminated elevated blood pressure, from basically eating Salt licks that you put into your horses stalls! Will not be returning ever again. The hostess did nothing but shrugged her shoulders when we verbalized how our dining was. Also don’t use the ladies room when you’re there, there were more flies in the bathroom then there is in the barn!
Food was delicious, staff was fun and friendly and the beer was cold!
We’ve been to Wesley’s several times over the last few years and have never had a bad meal or experience. The seafood buffet is always a treat and the daily specials are usually quite good. Prices are decent well. Show up with a positive attitude and I think you’ll be rewarded in kind.
I really wanted to like this place. We stopped here after going to Christiana. My grandmother got the soup of the day chicken noodle soup, it had no noodles and was so salty. It seemed like they took a leftover vegetable soup and added in dry chicken. The crab bisque was gross. Came out cold, I had to ask her to heat it up. It was thick and flavorless, no crab meat in it. For $6 it would’ve been a steal if it was good. Tasted like they squeezed it out of a bag I got the fish and chips because I saw them on the website, they looked delicious and hand battered. What I was served was comical. Definitely frozen fish sticks, no flavor at all. Very different from the menu photo. A waste of $45, would’ve gotten better food at McDonald’s. Reminded me of a sad diner.
