We had our wedding here. Island View Waterfront Cafe was everything we envisioned for our wedding!! It had that backyard wedding feel with GORGEOUS waterfront views! Jess was absolutely amazing to work with and her love for weddings and desire for you to have your dream day is evident after working with her. She is a great communicator and was a huge help during the different planning stages of our wedding. During our rehearsal and on the day of I came to her with all the questions and she had already had the answers and plans for those worked out and she is a HUGE reason why our day went so smoothly! We love and Cherish being an Island View Couple!!Some cool perks: flexibility to pick our own vendors; chairs and tables were included in the rental; we rented out the the evening before for our rehearsal and hosted an informal pizza party as we were setting up and organizing all the decor which made everything so much easier; you get to work with Jess and I can't say enough good things about her!!

My son and his fiance choose Island View for the great view. But what we got was so much more! Jess was great to work with and always got back to us quickly. She was happy to answer all questions and explain options. The weather was not the best the day of the wedding so we opted for inside for the reception, but i think that made it better since everyone was not as spread out as we would have been outside. But the ceremony outside was beautiful, right on the water. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding and can't say enough about how great Jess was to work with. Thanks so much for fantastic wedding memories!

We had my friend's baby shower here. We worked with Jess the entire time, and she was so lovely and helpful. They use a portal to help the host(s) stay organized, which I like, and you can message through it. I thought the price was reasonable for the space, and it’s on the water. We went with the buffet option and got finger foods plus lasagna. I didn’t eat the lasagna, but I was told it tasted good. The sandwiches were sliders of ham and beef. I thought the mac and cheese was good. I didn’t eat the chicken tenders, but they looked good too. My only complaint is that it was hot. We did have to turn the fans off because a balloon got caught in the fan(sorry again), so that could be why. But the cake melted a little, and some balloons started deflating. Granted, it was a very hot and humid day. Overall, I would recommend Island View to anyone, and I would work with Jess again! Thank you for everything.

Me and my now husband got married on 7-14-2023. Everything about our wedding was perfect. And the sites were so beautiful. We are so thankful we found this place. The owners are such great people. Jessica went above, and beyond to make sure that my day was special. We had a small micro wedding. We chose their catering Buffay, which included beef tenderloin and crabcakes. Both were so delicious. Crabcakes were all meat not much filler and the beef was perfectly cooked. We actually got some to take with us It was that good. The sites at the island view are just so beautiful. And I wish I could go back to this day again because it was just amazing. The island view has a beautiful rustic Look to it, which I myself love. They have multiple choices of which type of arch you would like at your ceremony. They have the perfect outdoor set up for a water front wedding. Their wedding prices are amazing so affordable. You could have any size wedding you would like here. Trust me when I say, it will be one you will never forget. Here are some photos of our beautiful wedding day.

I can't even put in to words how grateful I am to Jess and her team. My husband and I got married here and the wedding could not have been more perfect. Not only did the scenery and the quaint cafe make for amazing photos, but even a month later our guests are still telling us how absolutely beautiful the venue was. What's most important though, is Jess and her team handled EVERYTHING. We didn't even taste test the food before we used their catering, and we were stunned at how good the food was (the best wedding food we've both had). This location is at the end of a road on a spit of land surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay, so it's a destination rather than a drive past. The owners need to update their new status online instead of wasting people's time when they drive in to find it closed.
