The dinner choices are hard! Literally! If you like your chicken cooked hard, you will be right at home here. I don’t particularly care for the overall taste - I’ve had better.
The lady was very patient with us as we were looking through their many options.
Overall, the experience was mediocre at best.

Sad to say that the fried rice tasted like it was fried 12 times and had a burnt taste to it. The beef fried rice was not so good also. Shrimp eggroll was fine.
Food was just meh. Service was extremely slow. I ordered via the phone and went to pick up 20 minutes later. There were 6 other people in the store waiting. I don't know if this is normal as this was my 1st time there. I feel like possibly was only 1 person working the whole carryout. Definitely no more than 2. The woman was friendly though. After waiting at least 30 minutes my food was ready. If the food was better I would give them another chance.

Once they made our noodles a little too spicy. They still tasted good though. I've never had any problems with the food. It's always really good and well made. Good flavor too.

General Tso’s and Shrimp Yat. The General Tso’s is a combination that comes with rice and a shrimp Egg roll. It’s extra if you want all white meat. The sauce is good, the chicken is a little soft, could cook a little longer to have a harder texture on the outside. Had a small burnt taste to it, a few of them. The Shrimp Yat comes cook in soy sauce and it’s extra if you want, ketchup or gravy. Shrimp could have been seasoned a little to give off more flavor. Total price came up to $19.88.
Parking: Plenty of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp outside the entrance.

We were skeptical about this Chinese spot. We go to our usual one in the city, buy my sister in law told us this place is really good. She was right! The lady who answered the phone was so sweet. The shrimp egg rolls were really good. I got the shrimp and broccoli in garlic sauce and it was AMAZING. My husband got General Tsou chicken and he cleaned his plate. We are definitely going back!

I am not a critic, and neither am I a connoisseur, but whenever we sit down to eat dinner from lucky dragons, I usually don't stop eating until there's nothing left.

We have been customers of Lucky Dragon for approx 20/yrs. Just about every time my husband comes back from picking up an order, he almost always makes a remark about the owner. About her memory concerning our order, or something else they were talking about.
When it comes to our orders, she'll ask if we'd forgotten, and would like to add a pint of pork for our dog, or asking if we'd like root beers, which we ALWAYS get when we pick up our order!!
When we originally moved to Essex, we tried A LOT of Chinese restaurants around here. And absolutely none of them tasted right. We decided to take a chance, and ordered at Lucky Dragon, and have never regretted it. To be honest, we almost wouldn't have ordered there that day! BUT, that day was a ridiculously rainy day, and neither of us felt like driving to the restaurant in Glen Burnie that was our "Go To" spot!
The owner at Lucky Dragon always recognizes us, either in person, or when we order by phone. And, to me, that's actually a nice touch. It's something that doesn't happen at a lot of the other restaurants that we've routinely gone to, over the years.
I have always ordered extra shrimp with my shrimp fried rice. And just this year decided to try adding scallops as well. The owner asked if I'd ever tried their seafood fried rice (which was a cheaper option, even with the extra shrimp), and I hadn't. So, I ordered it, and was not disappointed in that dish either, at all.
Through the years that we've been ordering there, we've never had a reason to complain.
Parking: We've never had a problem finding a spot to park right out front. Unless, of course, it's around the holidays, but then that's normal everywhere!
