Just enjoyed your latest sandwich. Corned beef. Soooo lean. "No fat/Griselda.. the complete sandwich was edible. But I had to make 2 sandwiches with the meat I had on the bread. Never had a "pit sandwich" so damn beautiful. THANKS MEAT MAN

Found this little gem nestled on the side of the Tempo Bar in Essex, Md.The beef is absolutely delicious ! Fresh roll, Thin cut Smokey flavor piled high. I can make 2 samitches out of one !Piled high Pulled Pork Samitch is the cats pajamas.Love the Turkey too.Plenty of side to choose from. The fries are fantastic and the beans the bomb.They have a fixin table under the big tent so you can dress up your viddles as you like.The Owners are fantastic folks who appreciate your support of their local business.You gotta try the Meatmans Meat. It can't be beat.Peace and Enjoy.

Absolutely the best pit beef in the area. The Meatman is on my to-do list every weekend.
This is a solid pit beef stop. It's a little concealed being in a tent connected to the Tempo Lounge, but it's definitely worth the drive. The beef was cooked perfectly at medium, each piece as consistent as the next, no stringiness or chewiness. A nice large bun complimented the flavors of the horseradish and sweet mayo. Onions were good as well. If you are in the area, and craving pit beef, this is the place to stop. Very enjoyable!
