They forgot my reservations for the celebration of life ceremony that was scheduled a month before!!! Did not price it right. And did not get one of the app right!! This was very important to me and was imbarassing for me!!! Was very disappointed!! I would have to try it again because of the food!!

Ive truly been a frequent customer over the years went last Sunday and the customer service was horrible. Recieved several bad crabs asked for exchange and ignored to the very end of my visit. So unwelcoming i had to walk to the bar and pay my bill.. 3rd bad experience .. im over this place. Mr. Bill is truly missed

5 stars across the board, crabs are EXCELLENT! Large meaty males! The service is great and the atmosphere is inviting! The food is great too. I loved the bang bang shrimp, they had a nice crunch. The old bay wings weren't fried super hard so that was a plus for me. It's not super loud so there's no need to scream over loud music or loud TV's. They play music in the bar area only and that's not even loud. My only complaint is the bathroom stall doors doesn't have locks. It's a sliding door that people can kind of see inside the crack if they're looking hard enough. It's a bit unnerving. Someone can even walk in on you if they don't knock first and a lot of people don't. So please be sure to knock on the stall doors before you open it. Other than that, its still a must visit and I would return.

It’s a little tacky in here. I’mma be honest they were gnats flying around. The food was like a 2/10….heard the crabs were good, but I wasn’t in the mood for crabs plus they were very very expensive like 120 for a dozen of large…Just ridiculousness! The appetizers were actually good but the main course I really could’ve skipped my daughter did not like how her food tasted and instead of them being decent and taking a food back or offering to bring something else or at least discounting the food. the manager was very adamant that this has been their policy since however, many years ago and apparently they don’t give a crap if you don’t like what they cook they’re gonna make you pay for it, and I don’t really like that as an as a business and as a establishment. I basically said those exact words out of my mouth, and the manager said right! She wholeheartedly agreed with what I just said about them not caring about their customers and whether or not you like what it is you order off the menu. Long story short, we will not be returning to this place the lack of his way up and the love for customers is way down! As a matter of fact, the manager was more interested in taking shots with I guess some of her more preferred customers then she was interested in making sure that we were happy

We had a nice time we enjoyed pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Our waitress Ashley gave us excellent and friendly customer service.
We came in after seeing vendors for Essex Day.
We were looking forward to sitting down to Mr. Bill's Terrace Inn for some steam crabs as a belated birthday dinner for my daughter. We were greeted with smiles. We had a small wait. The dining room was getting full. We were given a bonus for participating in Essex Day the owner gave a $2 special on Domestic beers. Plus we order water with lemon. The Steam crabs 🦀 were delicious. We also had appetizer recommended by our waitress Steve Tots very delicious crab meat and cheese over the tots portion size was nice size to share with others. The bathrooms had a baby changing table which was nice. My grandbaby enjoyed looking at people she was too small for high chair. My daughter and I figured another way for her to eat her food and take her bottle. She fell asleep lol even when people were singing Happy Birthday. There were other people there with children too. Big table in front of us had 🎂 party. So they can accommodate all sizes of parties of guests. It was a wonderful visit and we made beautiful memories. We took pictures with beautiful background of ocean view scenery that were painted on the walls. Thank you for making our visit special. Everyone was so nice. Good to know that they have Crabs available all year round.

My daughter brought me here for my birthday in January and the service was terrible and I thought that last night I’d give them another chance. I was wrong. I was there by myself and there were only about 4 tables with people, I had to ask another waitress for a real butter knife , that’s what I prefer, because my waitress never brought me any kind of crab cracking utensils, never brought my fake butter or the wipes to clean my hands. Meanwhile the table next to me came in after me and it was a table of 8 and she gave them her full attention. I had to ask for my check and then waited 10 more minutes for her to take it back. A didn’t even realize until I got home that I was charged twice for the one drink I got that I only sipped on since I’m not a big drinker.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here today was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be shared. The food itself was mediocre at best, but what really stood out was the lack of customer care. When I expressed that I wasn’t satisfied with my order and asked manager Tina if I could switch it for something else, I was told flat-out “no”, and that i could order something else but would still have to pay for previous item. Most restaurants are willing to work with you in some way, but not here.
Tina was very dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, they made me feel like I was the problem for even asking. There was no attempt at customer service or even basic courtesy.
Dining out should feel welcoming and accommodating, but this place gave the exact opposite impression. With poor management and rigid, unfriendly policies, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a positive dining experience.

Nothing like the Birdland; ½ lb steamed shrimp 🦐 & ½ lb wings 🐔— the perfect combo. Had to get a ½ dozen crabs too 🦀 Great food, even better company, and top-tier service every time, thanks to Stephanie! We truly love being able to have dinner here!

Went in for the first time tonight, the bartender Randy took care of us and she was very attentive & friendly! The eastern ave egg rolls were bomb. I got the rockfish tacos they were huge & sooo good! I could only eat one after the eggrolls. Definitely will be back and recommend 💗☺️

Crabs were delicious. It was very crowded and seemed a little short staffed so the food took a long time but the waitress made up for it. People behind us were extremely loud but not the restaurants fault. Will go again.
