Great place with tons of great food. The prices are reasonable, and the bartender, who has been there for a long while, is very nice as well. Went there while vacationing in this part of Baltimore, and I enjoyed karaoke from DJ Mark, as he has an interesting approach to karaoke with fun little sound effects and such; he's a trip! Atmosphere-wise, it's your stereotypical bar feel but more welcoming. From my experience that day, the bar was a lot more popular than the dining. And the food was delicious! Where I live, they're called beach fries, but up in Baltimore, I guess they're called Downey Ocean fries; I had a pulled chicken sandwich with that. And the food was quick. My only complaint was that kitchen staff with long hair have their hair all out; if you get hair in your food (which I didn't) that's why. Otherwise, love the place.

One of the bar tech is very racist. Came in on Thursday afternoon at 1.20 pm for lunch.got served a coke soda...waited until 2.00 pm to place a order thats when I realized I was being treated very different then her regular customers after seeing her serve her regular customers and catering mostly to the men that came in and was given her conversation. I walked over to her dedicated side by the cash register and told her I have to leave because I been her to long without service how much do I owe you for my cocktail soda she told me have a good day.....never even ask me about my service...can't comment on the food...never got served

I come here weekly for lunch, at least once. Great food specials. The food is good and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is like Cheers--where everybody knows you and if they don't, they soon will! This is a great little spot in Essex!

Great venue to see live music. Typical bar food that is consistently good. Great service and friendly staff who go out of their way to accommodate our daughter who uses a wheelchair.
I went here with a LARGE group (23 men) of old friends. Service was very slow but I'm sure the size of the group I was with didn't help. Although, reservations were made so they knew to expect a larger than normal crowd. I had the fish and chips which were burnt to a crisp. It was awful. I also had the Maryland crab soup which was not at all hot; not even warm. It was at best, room temperature.

Holly the main lady is out temporarily, Kady and Diane are great. Not please that our venue is being cut short which is poker.They are saying that we don't spend enough money, not true four guys alone spend an average of $400 wkly and our bar maid makes atleast $100 in tip. Looking to playing at a better local. The explanation given is very suspect. And Karaoke will take pokers spot.I would not recommend any of my family or friends. Unless Kady or Diane is working plan and simple. Not good business practice. Lying isn't cool to the customers.

Went n that bar a couple times always threw the back door but the last time I was n there I went out front just to c 2 confederate flags on the outside as being a Black Woman all bad things started forming n my mind I will NEVER go back n there again because they don't like my.kind I dont want anyone spitting n my food or drink..I should have known something was off when I went to sit down my 1st time n and a white older man moved away from me...ill spend my money elsewhere
