We love Steamin’ Demons and always use them when we need to be sure that our steamed crab order will come out perfectly. We had friends from Florida visiting. Jeanne was born and raised in MD so we had a 1/2 bushel waiting for her and her husband when they arrived. They absolutely loved the crabs!! Everything went very smoothly from the ordering to the pick up. The crabs were heavy and very flavorful. We really like the large amount of crab spice they use - no cutting corners here! It’s a cute white house located in the middle of Essex on Eastern. They only have carry out and you have to walk up to the right side of the house where the window is for the pick up. There are many times I’m disappointed when ordering crabs b/c something is wrong (crabs are light, missing crabs, crabs are double steamed) but I know Steamin’ Demons is the place to go for hot, fresh crabs!

Every time I get crabs from this place I get an up set stomach and I'm sick for 3 days. It used to never be like this. The staff is friendly kinda dirty. I won't ever get crabs from here again

I bought 1 dozen of Jumbo crabs for $85.00. I Iive in Harford County and when I got home to eat the crabs they were watery with nothing inside. I called back to tell them the next day because I purchased them right before they were closing and the young man who answered the phone said to bring them back. I told him they were in the trash and he took my name and number and said someone would get back with me but I haven’t heard from anyone and it’s been a week.

I wouldn't recommend getting any crabs,I brought 80,s and 55,s they were empty and nasty got me sick.I called the manager and he said he would give me 6 crabs after I saved over 23 crabs that were terrible and light..So I recommend u to get your crabs somewhere else.

I called to order a bushel of crabs , I was given the wrong price by the woman on the phone she gave me the price for half a bushel, I let that go because everyone was excited for crabs so we grabbed the crabs and went home. When we got home they were cold so you could tell they weren't fresh, on top of that they were bland. We will be taking our business elsewhere next time.
