I wasn’t disappointed by the takeout from Hip Hop Chicken and Fish; however, the store’s overall appearance, both inside and out, left much to be desired. The lobby was unclean, and there was trash scattered around the exterior. Businesses entering a community should show they care by enhancing the environment, especially when they are profiting from it. As for the food, the chicken was mediocre—adequately fried but lacking in seasoning, the hush puppies were not good but the okra was great. I would like I hope to see them take more pride in both their culinary offerings and their impact on the local environment in the future.

Ordered food and it was completely disgusting. The catfish was barely fried and mushy inside. I called to inform about my order and it was just a waste of my time. No coleslaw, no tartar sauce, cold fries, and mushy fish.

Food is always nice and hot. I've been to this place at least 8 times. I had to return the food once. I had ordered wings and fries but the food smelled and tasted like fish. I believe the oil needed to be changed or they cooked my food with fish. Service is always fast. The ambiance is old the store needs renovation. Parking is available.

went to pick an order that I had made by phone had to wait a good 15 min cause the cashier was on his cellphone told me to wait on top waiting he had an attitude i stood quiet and food was cold I wont ever come here again bad service and a bad attitude he should be more nice food cold and fresh fries soggy

Green beans were nothing but mush as were the sweet potatoes. and the French fries were old and dry not cooked on the day of the order.The chicken breast and catfish were fresh and were the only 2 things we could eat so we paid just under $50 for half a meal from the Shetiff Road location. Will never order from them again.Vegetarian options: The green beans were nothing but mush totally inedible
