“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! Thank you all so much for proving customer service is not a dying art!”

“We drove up from NC to see our favorite The Kelly Bell Band. it was a bit confusing when we got there because there was already a show going on and the venue had no parking outside and no seating inside. we learned that what was supposed to be a free outside show had been moved inside. The staff taking tickets were so wonderful! lots of people were upset and giving the little girl a hard time. she was very patient even when they weren't. She gave them information and dealt very well with their aggravation. the wait staff inside the concert room were also great dealing with the madness. we had a wonderful time even though we never got served. we completely understood as the wait staff was doing everything they could. we had no problem ordering and getting our drinks from the bar and while we would have loved to have eaten, it was no problem stopping at McDonald's on our way back to the hotel. I would definitely return to this venue. I just want to give praise again to the staff for their calm and coolness during the madness and chaos of dealing with disgruntled patrons.”

“***Catering Review*** The Sweet Greek catered our daughter’s wedding and the food was AMAZING!! Stan and Maria went above and beyond our expectations. The appetizers of spinach and cheese pies were a favorite among our guests as well as the spicy feta and pita! I especially liked the grilled and chilled veggies on the vegetable platter. Everyone loved the dinner menu. We had Greek salad, Greek rice, Greek potatoes, grilled vegetables, chicken kabobs and beef kabobs. Stan and Maria found the best selection of beef and it was seasoned perfectly. It was such a hit they may add it their regular menu. We are still getting compliments from our guests about how good the food and service was. We had 4 guests that had gluten allergies and they raved about the food. They were so happy they could enjoy everything. The only item with gluten were the pita slices. Very good choice for anyone with gluten allergies. Thank you Sweet Greek - you guys are the BEST!!”

“An unexpected hospital stay changed our plans for Valentine’s Day, but a week later we were able to do carry out. I had the Linguine Primavera with EVOO and my husband had the Chicken Marsala with fettuccine. The meals were fresh, flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Warm soft crusty rolls added to our enjoyment. Portions were so large, it provided a second night’s dinner! This wasn’t our first meal from Acapella and they have always been on point. Will certainly be back!”

“Tonight was my second time ever being here. It was another great experience. The first time I was here was two days ago for a meeting/dinner. Tonight I took my mother out for her birthday and it was her first time there. Even though it was a tad noisy in there, my experience was great. My food was incredible and we didn’t wait too long. My biggest thing is service. I can’t remember my servers name, but she was amazing. She checked on us almost every time she walked by. I had a few beers and every time, she would have one at the table as soon I finished the last. I tried to give her enough of a tip to show my appreciation but I didn’t have enough cash for what she deserved. I wish I remembered her name because I would go back there again, solely for her service.”

“Great time last night. Stopped in for a quick sandwich with my daughter.. she immediately starts talking to a gentleman.. meets his friend.. both are super friendly and ask her name. They spark up quite a Convo.. after a slurpee just her size, big bag of popcorn for her true loves birthday ( yes.. she told them all about him) and tomatoes with cheese all for her.. they made her night!! Long story shorter.. We met the owners of Subway in Fallston Jeff and Jake!! They were the nicest and absolutely made our night! Thanks guys.. she is now waiting on her store key in the mail ???”

“It was ok for your average Asian restaurant, I miss the older days where it was more a restaurant than fast/ to go food, getting served hot tea and ordering a nice cocktail while enjoying a meal that's not so uniform”
