Nov 20,2025: table 41 Food was good, but service, not so much! Waitress didn't bring the type wine my wife ordered. When food with salad came, there was barely enough dressing to use. Wife's main dish was incorrect and had to be remade. By the time the 'remake' finally came, I asked for more salad, with the waitress saying there would be an upcharge. I asked her why other similar restaurants NEVER charged for extra salad. She told me that since covid, the policy changed. I can't see that as a connection (my wife & I are retired from the medical field , and see no link to # of salad servings). This was the stupidest answer, to put it nicely! Be mindful that this was the ONLY visit to our table by the waitress. No refills, and, by the way I never even got a glass of water initially. My suggestion is:, If you don't want to offer extra salad, and provide better service, perhaps you shouldn't stay in business' Don't cut corners, to maintain YOUR profit margin.

We love this restaurant! We had our son’s rehearsal dinner at Basta Pasta Fallston and it was perfect. The food is delicious and the portions are large. The service was exemplary for a group of 40 guests. We appreciate the staff and managers who made this special dinner party memorable.

They brought the family Halloween fun to their restaurant! The kids could not stop talking about all the cool Halloween decore! Food was delicious and we r still talking about the pumpkin cheese cake! Definitely get the pumpkin cheese cake! 😌 🎃🎃🎃

Basta Pasta
We went there for Father’s Day and Paul’s birthday on July 3rd, just Paul, Brian and me.
For his birthday Paul ordered the New York Strip steak with two sides, me and Brian ordered Chicken Chesapeake. Mine and Brian’s were great, 1/2 pound of crab cake over a chicken breast with a lemon sauce, it was delicious. We ordered with red potatoes that were fabulous.
Now we come to Paul’s steak. He said it was the best steak he ever had. It was thick and juicy and had a charred outer crust. He shared with us.
He ordered asparagus and red potatoes with his.
All was served with a big bowl of salad and bread that we shared before our entree.
How was that for a review?
Food just didn't have any taste or flavor to it lacking spices I think.

Basta Pasta gets a five-star rating when it comes to a local place that gives the exact environment that's wanted or needed at the exact moment that you're starving and especially since it's open on Mondays, which a lot of places aren't these days. The crab toast is delicious as are the scallops and the fettuccine alfredo and the gnocchi and the choices they have it's just five star in my book. And they have a bar area as well so it's easy to sit down for a meal or have a drink and hang out with some local peeps!

Ordered gluten free pasta and it was not gluten free almost had to take my brother in law to the hospital. The manager did not care, please educate staff on allergies or don’t advertise that you have gluten free options.
