Great service and fairly large menu considering its size. Good selection of alcohol. Shared the massive pretzel, came with two small cups of beer cheese and one with mustard. We ordered the pork schnitzel with potato pancakes and wurst platter. Very well made, wish there was a bit more seasoning. Will be back!

Been coming here for years…the food and staff have always been so great! While every server/waiter/waitress/bartender has always been great, Andrew is exceptional and we love coming here! Highly recommend!!

Having been in Germany many times and had real German food I give three stars for its Americanized German cuisine. The deep fried pickles needed to be sliced instead of whole with less breading. The veal schnitzel was somewhat overcooked and the potato pancakes were a bit overcooked. When my wife asked how their soft crabs were our waiter said they’re terrible, but that he doesn’t like soft crabs. We appreciated his honesty. Overall a bit expensive for the overall quality but the servings were large.

We had an outdoor party last night of 15 people to see friends play music. Sandy was our server and provided GREAT service in addition to being absolutely hilarious. Sandy was an absolute pleasure and we’d go back JUST for the comedy show she provided while visiting our tables. The food has always been good at Black Forest, no complaints there. Thanks, Sandy, you are AWESOME!

We live close and this is our go to when we want a good meal. Their burgers are great, as are their huge pretzels and brats. We haven't had a bad meal. And the staff is great! Sandy is our favorite, but the bartenders are always amazing and so are the other staff members.

Loved dinner tonight! Soft shells were legendary. Service was top notch (Reese is excellent). We will absolutely return on a regular basis. Great stuff!

The owners and their staff are always good to us. The weekends are the best time to visit because they always have live music. We have found many bands we would love to hear again.
