Food was very good. Barrel House burger was the bomb. Old Bay Wings were excellent. Good size and very crispy.
Great venue for music. Big space, but feels comfy. Staff is always amazing.. thank you Dylan!! You were attentive, kind, friendly and responsive to our groups needs. Been a patron for 3 years .. and will continue. #GermantownFan
Great place to enjoy live music!!!
Our 1st time at the Barrel House and it won`t be the last. Live music was brilliant with the Rob Fahey sound machine. Food was to live for and energetic wait staff made the whole experience memorable, well done
Fallston Barrel House is a neat place! $14 for 3 chicken tenders with no side was insane though. Our server was GREAT, the band option in the upstairs section was great, volume was fine in the dining room. Their version of “bang bang” shrimp should be fried a little longer, the breading was a little soggy but the flavor was great. I would eat here again and try something else, I would not bring my kids, they did not like the breading on the chicken tenders.
Loved the food, especially the salad it was very fresh. My husband loved his crab cakes. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. This was our 2nd time there. We will definitely be back.
The waiter was excellent. The appetizers were excellent. The desserts were bad. Cannoli cake had no real cannoli filling. Just white cake with pretend whipped cream and a couple of chocolate chips. The peanut butter explosion had lots of chocolate but no peanut butter. The strawberry shortcake was white cake with fake whipped cream and a few strawberries interspersed. Go for the entrees and forget the dessert.
it was a great time as always. it's a great place. I go almost every Monday. what I hate is doing this.
We are so happy that this place is thriving. It is our "go-to" now and we love going there. The atmosphere, staff and overall experience is great. My favorite dishes are the Fallston Chicken and the Honey Mac n Cheese. Portions are generous. I just wish they wouldn't change them up. Last couple of visits, only to find they have changed things up a bit. I think "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Still love the place, we are just creatures of habit I guess.
Service is absolute garbage in the basement. I got a strict pour of Angel's Envy for the incredibly low price of $40 plus tip. Meanwhile, I can go to Total Wine and get a fifth for the same price. These people are out of their minds.

As always - the Crab Dip, Barrel House Shrimp & Barrel Burger were Perfect. Morgan, our lovely Server - was attentive & energetic throughout the evening; while the rest of the Wait Staff kept our Table clear as well. Even Owner Elle checked-in to make sure all was running smoothly. But the highlight for Us was still the excellent Live Musical Performance by the duo consisting of local legend (former Ravyn) Rob Fahey & his steady sidekick - the always entertaining music veteran (Tall In The Saddle, The Ordeal, Vaguely Absurd) Mr. Barry Prosser. A Good Time was had by All in Attendance! *****
We sat outside in front of the band on a beautiful evening. We shared the very good gumbo and I had the Fallston chicken and my girlfriend had the BBQ sandwich. The best thing was a really good large slice of strawberry shortcake. The service was slightly slow but very pleasant. We will return this summer.
I cannot remember my waiter's name but he was amazing. He said he had only been working there for 4 weeks but I would have thought he'd been there for years. He was super knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations for my mom who was visiting for the first time. When we left she said she would definitely be back based on his service!
We drove up from NC to see our favorite The Kelly Bell Band. it was a bit confusing when we got there because there was already a show going on and the venue had no parking outside and no seating inside. we learned that what was supposed to be a free outside show had been moved inside. The staff taking tickets were so wonderful! lots of people were upset and giving the little girl a hard time. she was very patient even when they weren't. She gave them information and dealt very well with their aggravation. the wait staff inside the concert room were also great dealing with the madness. we had a wonderful time even though we never got served. we completely understood as the wait staff was doing everything they could. we had no problem ordering and getting our drinks from the bar and while we would have loved to have eaten, it was no problem stopping at McDonald's on our way back to the hotel. I would definitely return to this venue. I just want to give praise again to the staff for their calm and coolness during the madness and chaos of dealing with disgruntled patrons.
We go to the Barrel House a lot. Lately, though, they are charging admission that is not posted on their website event site. They do post it on some under the heading "What to expect" and say $10 cover. But the last 2 times we've gone to see Eclipse they charged at the door. The first they charged us $15 & said it was $10 if we got them in advance, but there was no mention on the site to buy tickets. When we spoke to one of the guys in the band, they didn't even know you were charging a cover. It's not the cost it's knowing in advance so that we can come prepared.
