Update to the review as its the only way to respond to the owners repy. It was dismaying that the response was just push back rather than acknowledging that the sandwich was not as good... contaminated by onion flavor, sliced thicker maybe impacting smoked flavor, and definitely a different roll even if the other location may have changed to that roll more recently. The condiments offered to customers may seem minor but have an impact. And the fact that the dog scrap was refused outright while routine at the other store shows the difference in customer focus. The key to small business success is usually acknowledging when the customer has a bad experience, not saying the customer is wrong!
This review compares this location to the now closed Northeast location. Drove to Fallston to try it for the first time since I missed my usual place. The pit beef wasn't anywhere near as good. The meat was sliced thicker and an onion flavor permeated it (or the roll). The roll was different and seemed smaller. The smoke flavor was more overpowering. There were no salt packets to go. And the Northeast locations ALWAYS gave me scraps for my dog. This one refused even a single scrap. I miss the Northeast location. Fallson one is nowhere near as good. But their cornbread was top notch and service was friendly!

Long time MD resident. Moved recently to Lexington KY. Back in Harford county to visit friends. Fast Eddie's Pit Beef was a must visit. Pit Beef isn't a thing in Lexington, Visiting Fast Eddie's Beef in Fallston when in town is a must.

I stopped in for the first time today, and I am so glad I did. As a Baltimorean, I grew up eating pit beef and I still love a good pit beef sandwich. Fast Eddie's did not disappoint!! It was a great experience from the time I walked in the door. I was greeted and welcomed warmly as soon as I entered. Erin, who took my order was friendly and efficient. I ordered a pit beef sandwich and fries. The sandwich was piled high, (a thick sandwich for the price), and the fries were awesome. The beef was tender and you have numerous sauces and horseradish and other condiments to choose from. You put them on yourself so you can dress your sandwich to your liking. Erin was attentive to me as I ate outside at the picnic tables, and we had a nice conversation about my military sevice. Really, really nice lady. Fast Eddie's is lucky to have her. All in all a great experience. Good customer service seems to be increasingly rare these days, but not at Fast Eddie's!!! I highly recommed giving them a try and I certainly will be back!!

I come all the way from Pennsylvania for this pit beef!! It’s worth the hour + drive. I love how they have all of the sauces and condiments up front to choose from. Most places charge for extra sauces but not here!! Love that they’re family owned- it’s awesome to support a small family owned business!! Must try in Maryland!!

I couldn't figure out what to do for my staff of 10 people for a last minute Christmas party, when someone mentioned Fast Eddies. I called and placed the order for 5 lbs of pit beef, wings, fries, and sweet potato fries. What a hit! My staff loved it. Not one wing, beef, or fries left at the end of the party. I can't thank you enough. It's so hard to please 10 people, but somehow, you managed to do it! I'm so grateful!! Merry Christmas from Belcove Place

First time trying pit beef ever and Fast Eddies definitely set the bar high! The food was hot and delicious and didn't take long at all. Very filling and for the price was well worth it. Not a crumb was left and put us in a food coma! Definitely will be coming back

I recently visited Fast Eddie's in Fallston, and while the food is decent, the atmosphere created by the staff was unacceptable. During my visit, I was shocked to hear employees dropping F-bombs in front of customers, which is something I've never experienced outside of a bar setting. It's incredibly unprofessional and rude.
To make matters worse, there was an incident where a plastic bin caught fire, and the staff had to fill cups with water to put it out. This added a layer of chaos to an already uncomfortable situation.
This was not just a one-time occurrence; I noticed the same behavior during my last two visits. One of the female employees was particularly rude and dismissive towards customers, even her co workers
Given this experience, I won’t be returning to Fast Eddie's and will be opting for Chaps instead, where I know I'll get a great service

Fast Eddie’s came through in a huge way for us yesterday!
Another catering company failed to complete our order for 45 people when I arrived to picked it up for our child’s birthday party and Fast Eddie’s stepped up without any hesitation!
They took the order on short notice, had everything ready right on time, and the food was absolutely delicious!
The staff was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about helping us out. They turned what could’ve been a stressful day into a great experience. Everyone at the party loved the food!
