I ordered the birria tacos via Grubhub and they were heavenly. I even closed my eyes a little bit. I can’t wait to have them again!

Let me save you the disappointment: DO NOT WASTE YOUR $22 HERE.
I ordered a lunch burrito that looked like it had potential—big, sauced up, and steaming. But that’s where the excitement ended. For $22, I expected flavor, fullness, and at least a basic attempt at quality. What I got? A burrito stuffed with bland rice, mushy beans, and FOUR lonely shrimp playing hide-and-seek inside an oversized tortilla blanket. That’s right—four shrimp. I counted. Twice.
The sauce was trying hard to be something, but it tasted like they opened a can of tomato paste, waved it near the skillet, then gave up. The cheese? Slapped on like it owed them money. And don’t even get me started on the presentation—this looked like it got body slammed in the back before making it to the table.
Planned? Absolutely. This ain’t authentic, and it sure as hell ain’t fresh. It’s overpriced filler disguised as lunch. I’ve had frozen burritos with more soul than this mess.
If you’re in Saint Bella and thinking about Plaza Mexico, do yourself a favor and take a left instead. This place is a catfish burrito experience—looks big, tastes like regret.

Plaza Mexico is a great place to celebrate a birthday with friends and family. We went midweek about 6 pm. We were seated immediately by the friendly server at a table that has a long cushioned bench along one side and chairs along the other side.
Drink orders were promptly delivered, the margaritas were perfectly mixed and refreshing. Big baskets of chips with salsa as well as freshly made guac helped to stave off our hunger pangs since all of the food being carried to other diners looked and smelled delicious!
The entree choices abound: we chose Texas fajitas to split and they did not disappoint. Everything tasted fresh and was perfectly seasoned. Everyone at the table enjoyed their selections.
All areas of the restaurant were very clean. The decor is appealing without being too cliche.
Can’t forget to mention that all of the servers/staff were friendly and ready to please.
Can’t wait to go back again!

I eat here often and the food is good, but there is a problem with the waitstaff not speaking English. They've taken all the salt and pepper and hot sauce off the tables, which is sad, and when I ask for them, they can't understand and just bring one thing, eventually. And when someone from the kitchen brought my order yesterday, she asked which was whose in a language I had no idea what she was saying --- and they act like that's my fault, somehow. I'd like to see a lot more English competence at this restaurant: it IS Maryland, USA, after all.
