Had a wonderful experience at the local for dinner. We were seated on the heated patio that was filled with holiday decor as well as a live band and bar. The service was personable and even asked about allergies beforehand! The holiday cocktails were delicious and some were served table side with some whimsical touches. The food was also just as delicious and fresh, the baked brie was smoky and warmed to perfection and the butternut squash bisque the flavor was excellent. I was enjoying myself so much that I honestly wasn’t able to take pictures! I would highly recommend going it was a very cozy and exciting atmosphere and was even greeted at our table by the newest manager Katlyn who also gave us some great recommendation's and really made the environment

Weve been coming here since The Local open. I still think it's the best dining in the county. I was disappointed with the Old Fashioned on our last visit. They used to load it up with cherries but there are none now. And it was a skimpy pour of rye. That was a very sad $18 cocktail.

I lost my mom in March of 2025, and growing up she always made us pot roast. When Zack told me about this dish on the menu, I knew I had to try it. Not only was it delicious, but it brought back amazing memories of my mom and those comforting meals from childhood.

I’ve been a regular here for around 2 years. The Local is great at making accommodations and always works hard to resolve (rare) problems with food or service.
That being said, please bring back avocado toast 🙏 It’s the main thing I go for and I think that it’s a staple for brunch. There is nothing light on the menu for brunch unless you want a salad.

I'm giving three stars because although the food was good, it seemed a little pricy for what it was. Also, I ordered a coffee and I got some lukewarm coffee-flavored water. I sent it back, which I have never done in my life and it came back the same. I felt too awkward to send it back again. The place serves brunch but can't handle a simple coffee? I'll go elsewhere thank you.
Mark the general manager took my order and he was awesome. He greeted me with friendly conversations and he really seemed to enjoy his job. I have been here numerous times and the food is always great but today Mark made the experience even better. If you're looking for good food and great hospitality visit the Local in Fallston.

Always a great experience at the Local no matter what time of day (so long as they’re open). I highly recommend their flavored espressotinis, especially the blueberry. Their octopus appetizer is particularly delicious, as is their buttermilk chicken sando and duck entree. Can’t go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu. Their crème brûlée is scrumptious too - the flavor rotates depending on season.
