Tonight was my second time ever being here. It was another great experience. The first time I was here was two days ago for a meeting/dinner. Tonight I took my mother out for her birthday and it was her first time there. Even though it was a tad noisy in there, my experience was great. My food was incredible and we didn’t wait too long. My biggest thing is service. I can’t remember my servers name, but she was amazing. She checked on us almost every time she walked by. I had a few beers and every time, she would have one at the table as soon I finished the last. I tried to give her enough of a tip to show my appreciation but I didn’t have enough cash for what she deserved. I wish I remembered her name because I would go back there again, solely for her service.

Had lunch at Uncle's today. It was our first visit, so we wanted a sampler. Uncle's Mixed Grill fit the bill. It was a combo of ribeye, pulled pork, skewered shrimp, and chicken thigh. All of the proteins were expertly cooked. We had plenty of attention from all of the servers. Can't wait to return.

The entire evening wasn't a complete disappointment; the servers were attentive and very nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. That said; what a disappointment.
While the food wasn't terrible it was terribly underwhelming. I asked to try their Hawaiian macaroni salad (a staple in any Hawaiian restaurant) because it's usually a fair barometer of authenticity, but it was some sort Haole nightmare. I should have just paid for my iced tea and left. Which island is this guy from, and has he ever been to an L&L?
Kalua pork doesn't need sauce; ever - let alone NC vinegar based sauce. Alaea salt, banana/ti leaves, and mesquite are what make Kalua Kalua. As much as I was craving Kalua (the sole reason I went looking for a Hawaiian restaurant) I opted for the ribs. They were cooked well enough and had a pronounced smoke ring, but the rub had too much of something in it (chili powder?) masking any other flavors and the sauce was some sticky stuff you'd get at a KC styled joint. Don't get me wrong - I'm all for fusions, but this wasn't well executed. The accompanying tempura onion rings were saturated with cooking oil making them unpalatable The mac and cheese was okay, but once again very underwhelming especially at this price point.
Was I expecting to get authentic Hawaiian cuisine in Bel Air? No. Was I hoping to get someone at least familiar? Yes. Did I get that? Sadly, no.

Kinda overpriced, but would come back. Firecracker chicken appetizer was very good. My brother ordered the Smoked Chicken plate, and I wish I got that one - the chicken and the Mac n cheese were great. Also liked the slaw.
I ordered the Uncles Mix plate - everything was good, especially the ribeye, but again just felt overpriced.
Service was good, and the atmosphere with the live music was great.

Family enjoyed a wonderful dine in experience. Staff was great and accommodated our needs when our 7yr old wanted to sit at a booth :) Food came out quick which was nice since we were dealing with 2 very hungry kids and then our food came out at a nice pace so we could enjoy apps and drinks. Everything was delicious. We will be back.

The food was actually good seasoned! But too greasy! I and significant other went for lunch and got sick after leaving the restaurant! The drinks were not made right, even soft drinks were blank and had no syrup! Our server (even though checked on us a couple times) was in a rush to get away from our table (we were the only ones there)...will not come again because of bad experience for the 2nd time there

We stopped in for lunch. Food is fantastic. We got two of the uncles mixed plates. The uncles mixed plate with rib eye, chicken, kalua pork and grilled shrimp was outstanding. The ribeye is by far the best protein but the chicken was a really awesome positive surprise. We also got the Sebastian’s mixed plate. All the seafood was great but the green beans were the real standout.
Service was quick and attentive.
Ambiance has a tiki theme which was pleasant.
Would dine here again.

I was excited for the food but unfortunately it wasn't great. Most of the food was cold or unseasoned. Amazing service though. Good job to our server!
