I ordered the NC BBQ with greens and cabbage, bread pudding, and a drink. Everything from the customer service to the food is amazing. This place is high traffic but it's worth the wait to order. I received my order in about 5min or so. I will be back!

We ordered bbq sandwiches turkey wing dinner catfish dinner pork chop dinner baked chicken dinner and rib sandwich. Everything was Delicious ?. Did not give 5 stars because of the 2 potato salad limit and the bbq did not have the Carolina flavor \"mop\" I was expecting.? Customer service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I placed our order over the phone. While I was cashing out the last item was coming out of the kitchen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good food fast. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This food has taken a turn for the worst! Please get the owners back in the kitchen the collards were bland and dry no juice no need to drain cup the mac was over cooked mush texture the potatoes salad had to many celery seeds in it somebody messing up the soul food

So my daughter and I ordered the meatloaf, geeens, macaroni and cheese dinner as well as the fried wings, greens and sweet potatoes. The greens were not good at all, the yams taste like can potatoes with a bunch of syrup. The macaroni and cheese was good. The meatloaf was very dry, no seasoning, no gravy, just bland. I don’t understand how a black owned restaurant can not make fried chicken. Their was absolutely no seasoning on the chicken. It was dry and taste like it was warmed up from a day or two prior to serving me. I wish I could go get my 45 dollars back. We brought desserts and stuff, just to be greedy. I wish I could leave no stars at all.

Went there today my husband ordered liver and onions ? it was some tough liver and I had salmon cakes they where hard with no taste coleslaw taste like seafood ijs thy really not the same I'm go to Henry's from now on ijs NASTY NASTY NASTY
The first time we ate here, the food was very good. Recently went back and wasn’t as impressed. The meatloaf taste like imitation meat with gravy on top. Didn’t like it. Cabbage was good as well as potato salad. Hubby had ribs, potato salad, and yams. His meal was good. Would give it 4 stars if I wasn’t so disappointed in the meatloaf.

PLEASE MAKE THE SWEET POTATOES CAKE MOIST AGAIN !!!! It’s dry now and I don’t like that lol. That’s what made me buy it . It was so moist like rum cake !!! Please make it moist again. Stop changing stuff.???

The ladies taking orders were quick and efficient. The kitchen staff were horrible, slow and having so much fun they could not conduct their job in a timely manner. I will not go back to this place. The food was good but the service was horrible ?
