I have been here 2 times. Both times the service was great and fast . The staff was very attentive and waiters helped each other regardless of what table they had . The food was good both times I went. The only thing I didn’t like is that food with crab meat Durant tell you in the description that it’s imitation crab meat. Other than that … everything was great . I will def go back again.

Over rated grease hole. Sit, get pressured by being asked to order immediately, eat like a pig, pay, leave, repeat.

Joking aside-avoid this dump. Overpriced, errors with what you actually receive compared to what you order are common, you will be rushed to order and pushed out to flip the table (common with all Mexican food places around here) and your food will be greasy and not worth the cost. The bartenders are cool though, drafts are served in big icy glasses so that’s a positive.

The food is great. On one visit I left my credit card. I called to ask if they had it and they said yes. I drove the 20 minutes to go get it and they didn't have it. I dontbknow why they told me yes they did when they didn't.

Tonight I went again and they tried to rush us out of the restaurant. They brought us the bills without us asking for them, we weren't done. Then they didn't come back to refill our drinks cuz they had brought the bills, so we were sitting with empty drinks. It was very unprofessional.

This was hands down the worst dining experience my partner and I have ever had. The food was absolutely disgusting! It was disgusting, bland, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The service was somehow even worse; despite the restaurant being practically empty, we waited forever for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and unappetizing. The staff seemed completely uninterested in helping, and getting a simple refill felt like an impossible task. The waiting staff was in a booth across from us vaping and talking while we fought to get their attention. The unprofessionalism was the worst I’ve ever seen. On top of that, the place was filthy—sticky tables, dirty floors, and a horrible smell that made me lose my appetite before the food even arrived. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump at all costs.

Just moved back to the area from out west. Authentic does not come to mind with this place. Prices are high in general. Atmosphere was nice. I have dined here three times. Last time, we were asked six times if we were ready to order. No, when the menu is closed and we are done talking we will be!? The Chile Rellenos platter was terrible. It was very watery from being frozen a dab of cheese and just not good. I want to like this place but it’s not good.

Combo plate. Enchilada n taco lacked presentation ie lettuce, tomato, guaca. Flan superb. Just fair food not great and I know Mexican food. San Antonio. But I support startups@ good luck. Have real daily specials its an incentive.

The chips are hard but bottomless, salsa was runny. Sweet tea was great and so was service. Would prefer one of the other "Mexican" restaurants in the area

The shredded beef tacos were decent but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, they were quite overpriced for just three tacos.

Stopped in for lunch shortly after their grand reopening and ordered the Burrito Bandera, which is described on their menu as follows: "Burrito stuffed with grilled chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo, pineapple, onion, tomatoes and rice"

I don't know what they served me, but what I actually received was a burrito with barely any meat at all, no trace of pineapple, rice, beans, and a few surprise ingredients (diced potatoes, peas, & carrots) all wrapped up in one.

It is a shame that the owners spent all their money and attention on the aesthetics of the place instead of their food... If you have any food allergies, BEWARE of surprise ingredients.

Very disappointed.

The attached picture shows Yamil Fries: covered with cheese sauce and your choice of grilled chicken, steak or shrimp.(Description from the menu.)
As you can see, 😁, that's NOT at all what was served.
The fries were wimpy, scantly any cheese sauce, and the meat was on the side.
The second picture is of Chilaquiles: Tortilla chips covered with chicken in your choice of green or red sauce, two eggs and a slice rib-eye steak.
While the salsa Verde was delicious, there wasn't much of it, the cheese wasn't melted, and as shown, the eggs were burnt, as was the extremely thin ribeye.
We really want to like this place, as it's spacious, clean, and the service is great, so perhaps we'll try again once they've been open for more than a few weeks.

GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE. Bartender treats her coworkers awful. Constantly bossing them around and she thinks she’s the only one ever doing anything but in reality she’s bringing the moral down. Customers are witnessing this left and right. But overall loved our service from servers , bussers, and management. Will be coming back

Eat here! You will not regret it. My test that works out 99% of the time if a place is good is the chips & salsa test. They passed with flying colors! I normally get the chimichangas at every Mexican restaurant we go to but the Quesabirrias tacos were screaming at me at this establishment. Holy #&@$! This is now my go-to at this restaurant. I’ll eventually try the chimichangas, but my new love our these tacos. Great service all around.

Atmosphere is great. Clean and quick friendly service. Those are the best thing I can say. The food was mediocre at best. Prices were outrageous. Same quality as Rio Grande with way higher prices. Will not be returning. After looking side by side at mine and my friends receipt, we both got a queso dip and the prices were different for both of us. I'm not upset about paying the more expensive price but consistency!!!
