It was OK. It was clean and the service was good. I had a fried seafood platter. The fish and oysters were pretty good as were the shrimp. The crab cake was cooked well but a little light on crab. I would eat there again and maybe try the fried chicken which is what everyone seems to rave about. It's a nice place for a family mesl.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Everyone loved their food, the fresh bread was great! The table had a mix of seafood, steak, BBQ, pasta, soup, and chicken entrees and everyone left happy!

Tasty food. Better than chains like Applebees or Chili’s. We got the lemon dill salmon and a half rack of ribs, both with green beans that could have used a few more minutes in the steamer. The food came out very hot and fresh. I wish the restaurant had more lights - it felt a little dim inside.

I can't believe I have lived only a half hour from this place and never tried it, cause it's super tasty! Old school fried chicken to die for and homemade bread that tastes exactly like my grandmother made it back in the 70's. Just some very well done home cooking mixed with extra fresh seafood and it's just done right, so don't miss it if you're in the area!

I ordered the crab bisque & seafood combo today and was blown away by the freshness and taste. This seafood meal was very bit as good freshness as going to the East Coast.
The first thing, The Hen House,could be a bit misleading. This does have chicken, man the burgers and seafood is very, very good here too. The service was very good . The price for two was very reasonable. The place was super clean and the staff is so polite and professional. I can not wait to con for a second stop. Just a reminder, is place is only open the weekends.
