Food was fresh and authentic. Absolutely fantastic. Restaurant itself is small but cozy and intimate. Feels like a small neighborhood Italian restaurant in NYC. Service was absolutely outstanding. All around just a really excellent place to eat, especially since the entire eastern shore is starved for authentic Italian food. I ordered the fettuccine carbonara. Absolutely

Super impressed. Fettucine carbonara with prosciutto, butter, cream and Romano finished with egg was delicious. The veal parm was hand breaded and so tender with side of pasta. I can't wait to come back again. Hands down the best Italian in the area.

I came here for take out Tuesday. This was my first time here but I saw they were doing Stromboli and calzones for their take out Tuesday. I got the Stromboli and it was amazing. It had mushrooms, pepperoni, onions, and of course cheese. I'm not a big mushroom person but it was really good. My kids even enjoyed it. Chris was there when we went and he was very nice and welcoming. Overall loved the experience.

A true gem! Nestled in small building on south 13 is an authentic Italian restaurant which is a symphony of flavors that transports your taste buds straight to the streets of Italy. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and iconic New York scenes set a stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a taste-bud explosion, offering a delectable array of handmade pasta, succulent seafood, and mouthwatering desserts. Each dish is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with the finest, freshest ingredients, showcasing Chef Joe’s dedication to authenticity. The attentive waitress Debbie ( whose advice on the menu was impeccable) added a personal touch, ensuring a seamless and delightful dining adventure. This hidden gem is not just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Italian culinary artistry, leaving you with a lingering desire to return for another exquisite feast. Buonissimo!Ps you don’t need a reservation but it’s highly recommended!!!Parking: They are in between two other businesses so there seemed to be plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: My daughter got the cheese ravioli’s and calamari. They also brought homemade bread to the tableWheelchair accessibility: Everything was on the ground level and seemed very wheelchair accessible.

This food and my entire experience was a 10/10. My birthday wasn't going particularly as I wanted and the evening before I had a horrible experience at another local chain restaurant. My first instinct was to go here but I went with the "safe" choice. Here's my cue to be more adventurous, because I had the best time at Joe's La Roma. From the appetizers of Italian chicken noodle soup and fresh calamari to our main courses. To add, the shrimp and pasta in my dish were cooked to perfection, if you like garlic then this is def the dish for you. Even had just the right amount of sauce. And I was gifted a bday gelato, it was amazing and I don't generally enjoy sweets. The staff was accommodating to the fullest. I asked to keep my menu to continue to look at their options for future visits. The appetizers came and I was struggling with where to put it, she came and grabbed it from me because she was being observant. LOVE IT!!! Last note Debbie was my server and she was so patient, knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. I told her next time she can just order my entire meal. Thank you so much for your service and one of the best birthday meals I HAVE EVER HAD .
